A mod collection that offers a new experience for the Darkest Dungeon, while staying true to the original's art style. There are new heroes, reworks on old heroes, UI and quality of life changes, monsters, bosses, and minibosses. I've been very picky regarding the art, but at the same time, I'm also trying to make a collection that doesn't break the mod limit.

COLLECTION PHILOSOPHY

Art:
The art style must fit DD's original art style. There are no anime skins or classes that pop out too much. I also avoided much of the mods that try to fit the art style but simply weren't good enough (e.g. have the wrong silhouette, are poorly shaded, etc.). Admittedly, this is a personal taste and I'll be the first to admit that I gave a very high standard for this collection.

New Classes:
A lot of the classes added have their personal gimmicks that make them interesting to play (e.g., Cataphract being a frontline healer, Sisters requiring you to balance stress and damage, and the Veiled, which plays better when he's on death's door). There are no overpowered classes like Monk or Astronomer that can simply run through everything they see, and most powerful attacks are locked under either restrictions, limitations, or great risks. Admittedly, there are a lot of dancers due to my own personal preference, because most dancers have highly conditional attacks depending on their position.

The player is intended only to recruit one hero per class, so he/she can cycle through the many modded classes, especially the healers and stress healers. Of course, this is only a personal rule, and you can play as you wish.

Town and Original Heroes:
Both the town and new heroes have been reworked or added to, offering a fresh gameplay experience for most veteran players.

CHANGES

General Quality of life updates
- New Tavern and Abbey Mechanics
- Scouting and moving speed
- Larger stagecoach
- Some trinkets and trinket updates
- DD2 UI and other UI updates

Old Heroes
- Reworks of all the original heroes, offering fresh but familiar mechanics and skills
- Added some skins, none too flashy (except some) nor bland.

New Heroes (You can add or remove as you wish)
- Healers like The Veiled, Lamia, Aesthete and Cataphract
- Dancers like Sisters, Duelist, and Ringmaster (I'm a big fan of dancers ngl)
- Bruisers like Slayer, Seraph, and Duchess

Monsters and Minibosses
- Added monster from DD2 (thank you, Project Iron Crown) and Black Reliquary
- Added more minibosses and monsters that fit DD's art style best.
- I could add a lot more regarding this, but I reduced some so I won't reach the mod limit. You can add as you wish.

INSTALLATION
- Unsubscribe from all your current mods
- Subscribe to all of the mods in this collection
- Load mod order as per the collection's sorting order

ADDING MORE MODS that aren't in this collection
Adhere to the established mod order (e.g. put your extra classes along with the other classes, skins among the skins, enemies among the enemies, etc)

IN CASE YOU HAVE MEMORY BLOAT
This collection is designed so you won't have issues regarding this, But if you add more mods, you may have some memory bloat concerns and your game may crash. In that case, you may take a look at this guide [1] here below to know what is causing the problem and how to fix it. Or you can also install this fix [2] which adds more memory to Darkest Dungeon.
