关于 The Twin Stick Shooter Aficionado

When it comes to gaming, we are all Thumbs!

They are opposable that’s why you can’t call them fingers!

Stop giving your finger to the keyboard and start giving the finger to the keyboard.

So why is it that the oldest piece of technology attached to your PC today is still widely incorporated and required for gaming by so many developers? We the Twin Stick aficionados are not giving our thumbs up to games that need a keyboard! No keyboards are for typing and these thumbs recommend controller enabled arcade shooter action!

Please note: your overly complex flight stick that only works for one game or your motion capturing units, though kewl do not count as controllers, a real controller only requires 2 thumbs!

How do you know if your controller is compatible with a twin stick game? First look at the controller. Does it have a left stick? Does it have a right stick? If you answered yes to both of these conditions, the answer is most likely, "yes!"

Did you know? Did you know that the human body has a gland that reacts and responds to twin sticks? It's probably true! They are located in the thumb region of your opposable fingers and is responsible for the release of dopamine in your brain every time you pick up a controller. This explains the feeling of euphoria when you play any twin stick game. So the next time you're feeling down, don't hesitate to pick up your controller and make your stick glands happy! ...and now you know!

Studies probably show that 1 out of 0 gamers excercise their thumbs with Twin Stick shooters!!

When you can crush walnuts with your thumbs like a nut cracker conditioned from what some may consider is overly excessive gaming, which we would proove to anyone if it didn't require us to put down the controller, is only further proof that we might know a thing or something about good gaming.

...and when it comes to a good game and no keyboard, we are all thumbs!

This is one of those “whoa” moments because not only did PION get voted through in amazingly quick fashion but it is also one of the last game’s that will EVER get put through Greenlight on Steam!

Whoa…

We would like to thank everyone for showing their support for PION, an even bigger “thank you” to everyone who participated in the 2stix/PION Alpha testing, and a huge “congratulations” to Sniperdoughnut2, who we cannot show enough gratitude for making all this happen!

And...

For those of you who haven't tried it yet, PION gets one more build for 2stix Alpha testing, and then it is off to Early Access. The target date is June 19th, 2017 so check it out while you can, link to the forum below:

We are proud to announce that PION is now on Steam Greenlight! We've been alpha testing this one for a couple months now and it is developing into an amazing Twin Stick Shooter. With randomly generated levels, waves of enemies, massive selection of weapons, bullet hell dodging tight controls… this is everything we love about 2stix gaming!

Twin Ruin is already in my wish list but I have to ask, whats up with the audio on your trailer? I thought my Audiobox wasn't working until I realized the video that was posted didn't have sound.

Posting a proper trailer with a pounding sound track and deep basey explosion sound effect to go with your shockwave effect would be my first suggestion. Can't give you any more suggestions beyond that as I haven't played the game yet.

I'm happy to be part of a group like this that I never knew existed. Waves 2, Tesla vs. Lovecraft, Geometry Wars 3, and NEON Ultra are my favorites. Crowd control is my thing. Super Smash T.V. (SNES) is a classic.

Wow, it's been a little while. How y'all doing? Yeah, we're still here. Hit us up anytime on the group chat, we're always on!

Anyways, we used those fancy new library algorithms to make the associated list of 2stix games even more completiest! (Yes, that is a word... now)

I challenge you to go through that list to the right and tell us whats missing!
