Added a check so a method can't run recursively. I haven't been able to reproduce said issue, but it is one of the few things I've changed recently, and some combination of mods might make it run in circles.

Fixed an issue where pawnkinds could momentarily spawn in with genes active that shouldn't be. This messed with werewolves who would show up in werewolf form and not get set up correctly.
