描述
The Beluga Tanker is a versatile maritime workhorse designed for efficient fluid transport and cargo operations. With its expansive storage capacity, comprehensive pumping systems, and helicopter landing capabilities, it excels in logistics, refueling operations, and offshore support missions. Featuring dual diesel engines, advanced navigation systems, and comfortable crew accommodations, this vessel ensures safe and efficient operations in any climate while providing all the amenities needed for extended voyages at sea.

This vessel offers:

  • Versatile piping and pumping setup allowing for multiple pumping operations at once
  • Crane with hose connectors
  • Plenty hoses and welding torches
  • Conveniently positioned hose and fluid connection points throughout the vessel, all clearly labeled for easy identification
  • Diesel generator (start with empty battery possible)
  • Waterjets for steering assist
  • Included Mahi RIB with easy deployment and reattachment
  • Included Kugelfisch Lifeboat (stored internally, easy deployment / no reattachment)
  • Remote control operation capability (for ship and crane movement)
  • Remote control station on the forecastle for controlling dock gantries
  • Map with autopilot capability
  • Radar, sonar, and transponder locator
  • Collision avoidance systems
  • Weather displays
  • Complete kitchen, toilets, showers, sleeping, dining and entertainment areas, including a cabin for the captain
  • Medical bay with four medical beds
  • Armory (locked with code; Hint: look for the code in the cabin of the captain)
  • Comprehensive lighting (position, perimeter, deck, interior)
  • Sea water pump for firefighting with access on the deck and in the engine bay
  • Comprehensive fuel pumping setup
  • Emergency flares
  • Diving gear and more equipment in the forecastle

  • Captain's cabin
  • Officer's Cabin
  • Crew Quarters
  • Bathroom (2 Toilets, 2 Showers)
  • Kitchen and Dining Area
  • Internal Lifeboat Storage (Kugelfisch Launch System)
  • Armory
  • Engine Room
  • Gear Room
  • Pump Deck
  • Hose and Pipe Storage
  • Windlass Room
  • Medical Bay
  • Forecastle

Fuel Pump System:
Note: All valves, buttons and ports should be labeled and hopefully be mostly self explanatory.

Where to access the cargo tank?
  • Hose ports in front of the superstructure
  • Hose ports in front of the forecastle
  • Hose ports on the helipad
  • Fluid connectors on the helipad

Where to control the pumps?
  • Port side of the bridge (in front of the Radio Operator's Seat)
  • Directly on the hose anchors or fluid connectors
  • On a control station in the center of the pump deck

Where to control the crane?
  • On the helm
  • Via the control station in next to the Crane
  • Remote controlled (if "Allow Ship Remote Control" key on the bridge)

How to utilize the crane: The crane has two ports labeled "Crane Fluid Connector" at its base that can be freely connected to any port to make full use of the many options the tank setup of the ship allows for. To fully lower the crane after use, the connector at the winch needs to connect to its storage position.

Tip: There is a remote control station on top of the forecastle that can be used to remote control fuel gantries on dock (the remote control frequency is shown on the gantry). Lower the gantry and connect it i.e. to the fluid connectors on the helipad.

where do you find the code for the armoury?

ngl the stern anchor winch is a bit weaker than the bow anchor winch and the stern one easily gets stuck when pulling it up. Maybe it needs to have a better torque ratio? One other thing is the scuba suit oxygen refill stops after some time and doesnt refill anymore. Also on a side note the helipad emergency cargo tank cutoff button label is named Toggle Button. Hope this helps with the next update!

I also improved the steering behaviour to be more controllable/predictable (it is still responsive).

Hey all! Thanks again for your reports and suggestions. :hellionfunny:

Added Auxiliary Stern Anchor - Control panel is on the wall right beside it.

Fluid Transfer Ports - Added to bridge balconies. Connect the port by the superstructure entrance (to any IN/OUT you want, just like with the crane) to transfer fluids up or down.

Additional Mag Alls - More on the helipad and ship sides (though weight may still limit usefulness). You can always add more if you want to.

Radio Operator Station Fix - Instrument panels for the Radio Operator Station now working properly.

Let me know if you spot any issues or have more suggestions!

this tanker is fantastic, thanks for making it! I thought I would point out a problem if you wanted to make a quick fix; I noticed the cargo tank pressure gauge in the bridge next to the pump controls doesn't work and only the ones around the ship other than the one in the bridge work. Hope this helps!

@junk Would love to, but its not planned currently. But when I want to build one, it'll definetly be based on the Beluga. Just need to figure out a nice way to load/unload it. :')
