描述
Enhance your vessel's rescue capabilities with this flexible external mounting system! This innovative deployment solution allows for:
  • Secure storage of your Mahi RIB on decks, sides, or any position
  • Simple and quick deployment procedure
  • Quick recovery system with alignment assistance for challenging conditions
  • Versatile installation options for any vessel type

Note: You are free to include and modify the Mahi Deployment System in your own creations. Please link to this workshop item when you publish them to the workshop.

This system is designed specifically for the Mahi RIB. Visit its workshop page to learn more about this agile RIB or use it on its own.

Features:
  • Extendable mounting frame that positions the RIB for safe water entry
  • Automatic lowering to water level for easy recovery
  • Visual alignment indicators for simplified reattachment
  • Auxiliary winches and ropes for alignment assistance in heavy weather
  • Four-point connection system for secure mounting

Deployment Procedure
  1. Enter the RIB while it's mounted on the frame
  2. Press one of the "Deploy RIB" buttons on the frame
  3. Turn all breakers on (starboard side near the helm)
  4. Start the motor (on the outboard motor or with hotkey 4 on the helm)
  5. When the frame is fully extended, press hotkey 1 on the Mahi helm to release the connectors
  6. The RIB will drop into the water - drive away

Recovery Procedure
  1. The frame will automatically lower to water level when deployed
  2. Drive under the frame following the arrow indicators
  3. The front connectors will connect first - use the motor to help align if needed
  4. Once all four connectors are attached, the frame will automatically winch up
  5. Untoggle the "Deploy RIB" button
  6. If connection isn't immediate, after some time the frame will complete reattachment

Tip: In heavy weather, use the alignment winches and ropes on the frame to pull the RIB into proper position.

Installation:
  • If you want, you can spawn the creation in the water to try it out first
  • Remove all the pink parts, they are just for demonstration purposes
  • Paste the creation in place and merge it with your vessel
  • You can move the microcontrollers to your ship
  • Hook up power and light to your ship however you like
  • Modify as you see fit
  • Ready!

@Nanosea Depends on if you imagine the bottom/hull to be rigid or flexible. As everything in Stormworks is more on the rigid side, RHIB might be more correct. Did not know that difference myself. :hellionfunny:
