I've asked with the Vanilla Expanded FIshing,
Sarg pointed that, for your lakes to be compatible with their fishing mod, it's on your side to make the lake tiles "Fisheable".
Could it be added?
Not only to be able to make our own artificial fishing farms for certain roleplaying games, as well to be able to fish on the natural lakes generated by your sister-mod addon Natural Lakes!
Your GitHub [github.com] shows it correctly as <designationCategory>Floors</designationCategory> - so I'm betting it was just an honest mistaken copypasta onto Steam's Lakes from when you updated Steam's Natural Lakes .
Thanks for your work on modding and looking forward to your Moon adventures too!
Now I can defile my own manmade lakes with things to cool down my nuclear reactors
