AGOT: Monastery Government

描述
Monastery Government Type for Monastery Holding barony, so they are taxable.
People who want to be able to construct monastery holdings could download my other mod: AGOT: Buildings and Holdings Fix . To keep this mod have maximum compatibility for people just want to see them paying tax and leave them alone.

Description
A solution for the currently unusable monasteries all over the realm. There are people making fixes but not exactly what I wanted.
This mod creates a non playable custom government type that could use monasteries, using theocratic successions, and pay taxes and levies like republics. Since it doesn't make sense to be leased to the Septons. As many monasteries in my opinion are rather independent. However, I'm not deep in lore about Monasteries in Westros or in real life. Please let me know if you are an expert, I'm curious.

Load order
After AGOT base mod.

Compatibility
Everything, if not let me know.
It should work with any newer versions of AGOT if government type format remain unchanged by PDX.

Note
Don't grant counties to them, or they become feudal (or you have to change county capital to force them). I hate lands that can't be taxed. :)
If you use this mod mid game, probably have to revoke the previous feudal lords on monasteries and press that grant to local or your culture button. AI counts will grant correctly if they have the monastery holding themselves or you start a new game.

AGOT team and previous fix makers, including AGOT: Monastery Fix by Whoahman , read some of their codes, though different ways of dealing the problem. Hopefully they could deal with these monasteries someday.

Hi @nsinger998, my fix here, and I also suggest you use Holding Manager to swap them, might be better solution.

A possible temp fix is to edit the admin government to allow them hold everything including the pirate or monastery holding, I could do another mod to fix this if you like. But I will not include here, due to concerns of compatibility.

Yes, that is an admin problem, it will give every new granted vassal admin government type, regardless of holding type. In AGOT, if you have stepstones as admin, you won't be able to have pirate vassals as well. This bug has been there for sometime. I will try sth but probably not gonna fix it, might need paradox to fix it.

Hi, thanks for your reply! I did make the Monasteries buildable again, then I integrate many fixes about buildings and holdings. For the sake of compatibility, they are now in a separate mod made by me ""AGOT: Buildings and Holdings Fix"". Including the buildable Monasteries.

Great mod, was always annoyed that I cant don anything with monasteries, in my Banefort campaign. Btw, can you make it so the player can build monasteries ? Currently the option to build one is not available.
