Roadmaster Deluxe Coupe

New for 1950!




Driving the New & Revised Deluxe Coupe is the Red block V6,
paired with a sport ratio 4 speed + O|D manual transmission,
which rockets the Deluxe Coupe to its tops speed of
91 miles Per hour! in 13 seconds!

quick shifters can be made by taping the [shift right] button before shifting up rapidly by double tapping [shift up]. The same "Shifter preloading" can also be done in reverse to downshift quickly.



Equipped with a Manual 4 speed transmission it is operated with the arrow keys and can be launched with any gear! but its fun to play with the shifter for better acceleration!

Development Notes: [Old]

The main goal for this car was to put a modified 3 speed manual transmission in a period correct body, late 1940s. And if you think this car looks familiar, I took inspiration from Daniel LaRusso's car in Karate Kid [i.pinimg.com]

Using Gakuto1112's 5 speed manual as a start ( Manual transmission controller) With the help of not_mop_man I was able to add the overdrive, which gives the car 2 different driving patterns and a killer top speed (literally)

The Overdrive doesn't really help out fuel economy, not to any noticeable degree in SW, however in second gear with O/D enabled it remains controllable at around 80 mph. However reaching the max speed of 126 mph shows the cracks in stormwork's wheel physics and you get turned around rather quickly

Hi yall, been kinda busy.. But I wanted to get this microcontroller out there in a vehicle. I've been testing the crap out of everything, seeing what works, what doesnt.. but with the "Remastered" deluxe coupe I give you a slightly handicapped version of my "5MT/AWS + Crawler gear & Hi|Lo" what a mouthful lol. Regardless that is the controller for my new Medium Duty Roadmaster truck the "RM-10".
Finally I haven't thought of a clever backstory yet, but I'm making All Wheel Steering a standard option on all of my future Roadmaster vehicles, so for all intents and purposes Roadmaster is Chronologically the predecessor to Roadhog, The Military Vehicle supplier and I do think about this when I consider my designs, so the similarities should be apparent
