Description
Remove infestation event from your game.

Unless you spawn them with dev mode...
... the infestation event should never ever appear ever forever ever again ever like never before really no joke.

FAQ

Q: Why? Just turn off the events when you create a new save.
A: Yes, those events can be turned off in the scenario editor, but ONLY before creating a new save. Afterwards you can't do it anymore. Hence why this mod exists. Not having to worry about disabling them or to do if you forgot to do so.

Q: Can i add this to an existing save?
A: Yes, that's the whole point of it.

Q: It says it's is not compatible / shows version x instead of y
A: Unsubscribe, resubscribe, verify game files. Those version tags on the side don't show up out of nowhere. They come from the mod files.

Whelp I'm here to say what has probably already been said... Yeah for some reason 1.6 files for the workshop download just do not seem to exist in the moral or physical fibers of my internet. I cannot comprehend why it refuses to acknowledge a 1.6 file update, as it works just fine on the git download but ive tried everything up to re-installing the game and it has just not worked at all dawg.
maybe its because im on linux? i doubt it but its the only thing i can imagine is different from the "average computer" TM.

@cararr, can you even try to read the description? Ball your fist up very tightly and move it rapidly towards your face without slowing down. Report back your findings.

Its on an nvme but weirdly enough it takes long. It's fine on my laptop so i assume its some fuck up of old windows installation and steam.

I wish I could attach the picture because I've got over 1.6k subscriptions KEKW. Verifying didn't take as much as I expected, maybe due to me moving rimworld to NVME? but unsure. Still I remember the times it took at least half an hour for me to verify rim D:

@[C|⦿] Typical Lama [✚] Idk what you've tried so far, but try unsubscribing, deleting the files for the mod in your rimworld steamworkshop folder, check the steamworkshop download as well and resubscribe.
