Don't listen to the fools that think ring of fog is useless its actually very useful against archers and mages in PvE. Literally can skip the anor londo archer spot where the two archers are shooting at you, new londo run back, tomb of the giants run back, perfect for the early section of dukes archives with the mages and archers. It doesn't work only in PvP anymore thankfully and rightfully so, because it was absolutely broken... Using the ring of fog+slumbering dragon crest lets you run through all of the catacombs without awaking the skeletons for an even easier early pinwheel run and this ring combo can be used in nitos fight and you wont wake up his skeleton minions.

You don't have to join the forest hunters covenant for the ring of fog. You can just trade a skull lantern to snuggly and they'll give you the ring fog.

Depends how u play and for what u gonna use rings.
In my opinion most useful rings are: Ring of Favor and Protection, Wolf Ring, Hornet Ring(fast swap only), Red Tearstone Ring(fast swap only). But FaP ring dont let u make dobule parry-swap so it's not so cool tbh. But I guess every player should find his\her own play style:)

What I mean is: These are the things that are obvious for DS veterans. But guides aren't being read by veterans, but by noobs. And I can say I'm kinda lost when I'm supposed to pick a ring to equip as I don't understand what half of them does really.

Since it's a guide, it would be awesome if you added a fifth column with the comments, adding a sentence or two about each ring (what it does EXACTLY, how it works, how is it useful, or not, etc.). It would be extremely helpful.

OK, now it makes more sense language-wise. But it still doesn't explain what it does, exactly :-) What is the benefit of being transparent?
