There is much that could be said as part of a review, and MUCH to criticize from technical and gameplay standpoints. Were I to take an objective stance, I could list off much that I was disappointed about when it comes to what we could have gotten...

But I can't. I can't be objective about this... this experience. This pure, unadulterated dive into not just a most gorgeous piece of narrative art... A dive into the depths of my own soul too, really. A lot of Senua's journey has reflections from my own, and I recently realized that I had played the first game before I really had the "chance" to truly face my own inner darkness. So, much as the first game had the psychological narrative down pat, this time around was.. something else. I am blessed to be around to have experienced this.

Hellblade II: Senua's Saga is certainly not going to be the best game you will play. But by the Gods, it might well be the most beautiful, in its rather ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up way.
