Hitman 2 is one of my childhood favorites from the days when games still came on disks and it was a masterpiece for its time. Yes, the graphics and mechanics are old, but that’s part of the charm of these classic games. If you follow the community guides to fix the shadow, resolution, and cinematic video bugs, you can run it smoothly on a modern PC without any major problems like me. The only downside for me is that even today, some missions (like the one in Katsuyama Castle) make me want to just shoot everything on sight or use exploits to finish them faster. A few missions aren’t as enjoyable as the others, but they’re only a hanfull. The game gives you plenty of saves and lots of different ways to approach each mission, so you can still have fun with it. Overall, I recommend trying this game. One piece of advice: always save before you complete or exit a mission if you’re collecting weapons, that way you’ll know exactly which ones you’ve unlocked for your wall in the shack.
