BUG: Leader interface shows washington.
Suggestion : -1 gpt per 2 unemployed citizens, +2 gpt per 3 employed citizens. Helps demonstrate how he plans to tax the crap out of the working citizens and give money to the lazy, useless unemployed.
I think you can curb the butthurt from this mod by making another civ with the "no roads" strawman.

@MusicNote The Washington leader screen is just a placeholder for now. I absolutely love the "no roads" idea, though. It ought to get a bunch of laughs in the future should I decide to move from obscure inside jokes to playing politics in Civilization 5.

@Lamppost
I've tied that to happiness. Giving extra gpt for specialists would not be unreasonable, but Junkyard America is meant to run at a deficit once you hit big-brother-government endgame. If anything, I'm worried that it may be overpowered.
I suggest you change the red/black colors to something else. It's hard to tell apart units from this civ from the Kanye/Hitler civ.

The current colour scheme was designed to match a certain "yes we can" poster. I wouldn't mind changing it, though, possibly by sneaking it into a future content patch. Do you have any specific colours in mind?
Nah,I don't have any ideas for the color scheme. EDIT: Try red with white text. See if it'll look too similar to other modded in civs.

Hey,If you plan on making the strawman libertarian civ,I guess you might be able to have city names like Peter Thiel city,Galt's Gulch,and maybe even Detroit. Heres some completely unbiased reporting below. Totally not biased.

Maybe the civ only pays 10% maintanance on railroads thanks to John Galt's magical engine

Have you taken a look at mods like the Mussolini and Naked Snake mod? You might be able to put in script in random events,unique resources,or quest decisions to make your civ more interesting.
