This guide explains the Mod Config Menu (MCM) options available for Advent Angels. If you’re unsure what each toggle does, this breakdown will help.

• All options require a full game relaunch before changes take effect.

• Mod Enabled
  Toggle the entire mod on or off. When disabled, all other settings are ignored.
  
  
• Replace These Genders
  Controls which enemies are replaced by Angels, based on the original gender of the unit:
  
  • All Genders → All units, regardless of gender, will be reskinned as Angels.
    
  • Females Only → Units that were originally female will be reskinned as Angels.
    
  • Males Only → Units that were originally male will be reskinned as Angels.
  Important: All Angels are female. This setting just determines which units get swapped.
  Important: Not all Advent are male. The females are very very hard to spot, though. Not anymore! lol
  Note: At this time, all Archons are treated as originally female in this logic.

Advent Angels can reskin enemies from different mods in addition to the vanilla game. These toggles let you pick which sources are included.

• Vanilla/DLC XCOM2
  Replace standard XCOM 2 + DLC enemies.
  
  
• A Better Advent (ABA)
  Replace enemies from the popular A Better Advent overhaul.
  
  
• A Requiem For Man (ARFM)
  Replace enemies from the A Requiem For Man mod.

Here you can fine-tune which enemy families are reskinned. Families marked with an asterisk (*) are still being commissioned and do not have variants available yet.

• Archons – Reskin Archons.
  
• Advent Stunlancers – Reskin Advent Stunlancers.
  
• *Advent Troopers – Reskin Advent Troopers.
  
• *Advent Captains – Reskin Advent Captains.
  
• *Advent Shieldbearers – Reskin Advent Shieldbearers.
  
• *Advent Priests – Reskin Advent Priests.
  
• *Advent Purifiers – Reskin Advent Purifiers.
  
• *The Lost – Reskin the Lost.
  
• *Advent Skirmishers (ABA) – Reskin Advent Skirmishers from A Better Advent.
  
• *Sectoids – Reskin Sectoids.

• Families marked with * (asterisk) are in development. Toggling them will have no effect until their commissioned variants are added in future updates.
