Upcoming Features
This is a place for me to track upcoming features to help communicate what's in consideration and what could still be brought up for discussion. No guarantees.

In Progress
  • Advent Trooper Commission
    The commission for the Advent Trooper is fully funded and progress is continuing daily. It is planned to include soldier cosmetics.
  • New Fallback Runtime Reskin Method
    A new reskinning method for RRA. It won’t be as dynamic as RRA's current method (no instant rerolls), but it’s intended to eventually replace OPTC as the primary fallback, as an alternative that offers more features than OPTC, like unisex manipulation and dice-roll options.
  • Surprise Angel Mechanics

Maybe
I might explore these options, if the mod support goes well and they end up being feasible. No guarantees at all.
  • Female Spectre. His FX might interfere a lot, though.
  • Stunlancer v2. Conformed to the Trooper-and-beyond style, which is far closer to the vanilla stunlancer than v1 was. I already have the concept image made for v2, I'm just holding it back until I see how the support will go, to avoid over-promising.
  • Animations. Hot walk/run. Blown kiss on reveal. Feminine collapse. Hot idle stretch. (Animations are expensive!)

Maybe Impossible
  • Sectopod with Sectoid behind clear windshield. (Awful experimental. Would require a custom bone and animations. Probably harder than it sounds.)
  • Andromedon with lady inside.
  • Faceless. With the right artistic touch, we could have fun with that.

Why won't there be soldier cosmetics for Stunlancer V1?

@Dorimeme: The Stunlancer V1 wasn’t built with modular soldier cosmetics in mind, so it doesn’t have the pieces separated out like a proper armor set would. That said, if someone ever does the work to break it down cleanly, I’d be glad to fold it into the mod and give credit. For now I’m focused on the newer assets that are designed to be modular from the start.
