I have a save which is made up primarily of a few dozen pawns who make up a nonviolent religious order. However, they have been referring to themselves as "Defenders", which is very immersion breaking, and sometimes they start larping at each other. I can see in the debug view that the prompt is providing their role is "Defender".

A bunch of my colonists have this, but I cannot find where this reference originates. Even toddlers have Role: (Defender). Their role has been set beside their in-game name. It isn't the "race" nor the xenotype. I have searched my savefile and also tried exporting the characters via character editor (as the entirety of the pawn is saved as a text string.) Neither of these have "Defender" referenced anywhere.

Where does Rimtalk pull this information from?
