But yea, when they activate, they pivot down and back up when inactive
Tested in all weather elements, wind or no wind. Tested at heights under 300 and above. Tested with pre-aligning destination and without, also tested with forward-travel and without. All done in Low Physics. Perhaps a higher setting is needed?
Regardless, when activating the cruise mode to fly to a destination, the aircraft throttles up quickly and almost immediately spins out of control. The rotating props also seem to self-destruct during these spin-outs, rendering the craft unrecoverable.
I've also noticed that, even when it seems to get into cruising speed and direction correctly, in just brief time something goes wrong. Either the aircraft over-corrects and begins spiraling, or one of the props self-destructs.
Aside from cruise mode, the aircraft as a whole works fantastically and performs a ton of work for me, when ship-launched. But without cruise mode, it isn't feasible for long term travel.
I'm not sure what settings can be tweaked further exactly, but perhaps the speed at which the props rotate into cruise position can be slowed down, along with the throttle ramp-up slowed down as well? As far as stability goes, gyro, whatever it is, perhaps more dampening to prevent over-corrections?
So yes, High Detail mostly solves the problem as long as I'm also pre-aligning the destination.
