It's called exploits and bugs. Half of movements from doc are unintetional bugs/exploits. And you need to enable wall pouncing, vanila exploits in Rain world remix to do them - only solidify they are bugs/exploits, not meant to be used for rain world, but left to not upset playerbase.

you do not need vanilla exploits, but you are correct it was not an intended feature
