unless you're talking about the soundtrack menu part? well for that to work you either need a level of control over the music player which doesn't exist in the games modding API (Repentogon) or you need to completely replace the games music library with xml files (MMC), repentogon isn't something I can just include within this mod, and xml files aren't something you can easily toggle on or off, why do the full music library replacement thing within this mod when not everyone using it will be even using the soundtrack part?
I've searched through the files and can't find any references to maxrenderscale, the only game option this looks at is HUDoffset and it doesn't change that, just reads it.
Are you sure it's this mod? does it still happen if you disable this mod, or have this mod enabled and every other mod disabled? (could be some kind of conflict with other mod maybe?) also check your debug console and see if there are any error messages.
