描述
Lets you customize the starting items for each character (except for eden and modded characters) by using the Mod Config Menu.

If you don't have the mod config menu installed you can still alter the settings, just open the console by pressing ~ and type one of the below commands where ID is the number id of a character (can do 'restart ID' in console to check), T is the id number of a trinket and X/Y/Z are the number id of items, use 0 for the trinket/item ids for none.
"setstartingitems ID-T-X-Y-Z"

You can also use "viewstartingitems" to check your current settings and "resetstartingitems" to reset them to default.

You can set 3 items and 1 trinket per character, the mod doesn't deal with pickups like coins or cards and doesn't affect 'hidden' items like Lilith's incubus or Azazel's brimstone.

You can also use the config menu to set up to 3 items that EVERY character should start with on top of their specific items, including modded characters.

This mod also doesn't apply to challenges and doesn't care about unlocks.


This is included in POTATO PACK 2.

I was also wondering if maybe you could have a option for costumes? Like I want to start with bloody lust but the costume of brimstone without the hole brimstone item

I actually made a REP update of this myself over the past few weeks, and figured I'd actually link it here: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2588917609

I know you were going to update all your mods to REP eventually, but I just really wanted to use this mod, so I started working on it myself, and before I realized it, I had messed so much with the code that I figured I could do a steam release... >.>

I hope you don't mind it! I credited you appropriately in the description btw! ^^)/

PS: My version is super clunky, and I'm sure Nato will do a better job with it when he eventually updates his version for REP.

Hi Nato Potato,

Can you please make a repentance update, if you haven't already? I can't alter the starting items of Bethany, Jacob, Esau, or the tainted (B-Side/Alternate) characters. I also can't seem to use any items above ID 586 (Same problem as BartjeB) despite using the updated Mod Config Menu made for Repentance.

Are there any plans for this to be updated to include pocket items and/or Tainted characters? Great mod either way, just think that'd be neat.
