The only missing thing is a easy way to apply gels on walls

It's a console command. You type it into the console. See here how to enable and use it: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Developer_Console

The shadows should be on by default, but if for some reason they are not, r_shadows 1 turns them on.

Everytime it goes to the "Please wait while the test chamber is downloaded..." it takes me (and my partner) back to the main menu after a couple seconds... Any help?
