Those locos are touchy, I really don't know if I really needed to have 2 of them together.

and another thing.. i dunno but i felt as if the shunters were a bit slow to accelerate. as if the brakes were on or the cargo was just too heavy for the two shunters... just a feeling. dont know if that was really the case..but no prob getting the scenario done..

It was a nice scenario but got a bit confused with the second set of loading/unloading containers. but with a bit of trial and error realised which cars had to be loaded/unloaded. Back to some mainline action... :steamhappy:

Yea I have switched to the helper in certain scenarios and noticed that you can't ask to pass signal unless you in the main loco. Just save after each completed task so if something goes wrong you can just start there.

I did a resume from a saved position at the unload/load containers situation. No problems, but after I had dropped the containers and attempted to pick up the container flats at siding 2. The engine would not couple, it was then I noticed the instruction said to couple to the back of the lead engine, but it was the front of the helper which was contacting the flats. I then moved forward , dropped the helper in siding3, went back to 2 and could now couple and finished the scenario. Looks like I missed an instruction to drop the helper of somewhere :-)

yes
ahh, that is why. you are trying to build a scenario correct? or are you trying a quick drive?
no
do you know how to add DLC in build mode?
I have tried that and it has not worked, it only allows me to add the locos that come with the route.
You should be allowed to add any BNSF, Union Pacific.etc..to Cajon Pass....unless it's an electric loco.
I am trying to add locos to cajon pass, the chicago race track, horseshoe curve and norfolk southern coal distric
What DLC/Loco are you trying to add and to what route?
When I build scenerios it will not let me add loco dlc to what ever I am trying to build, it will only allow locos and rolling stock from that route, do you know how to fix that?
Thanks kpmoore53, I'm going to re-do the first Yard Work and "Leaving Barstow" Parts 1-5 in the future. Plus add more senarios along the route.

Thanks for the info I will try that next time.
Little trick I did was apply the hand break to the car I was loading. I even applied it at 2mph to help it stop.
Yes they did, I wondered the same thing. Made it a little more interesting, trying to load and keepng things from moving away. Again, thanks for all your work.
Thanks Ken, did your cars like to drift? I think the yard is tilted a tad.
Excellent, intense switching scenario. It was fun to actually load and unload, instead of just hooking up cars. Thank you for all your work.
