Thank you for the mod
Grimhat  [auteur] 5 mei om 8:14
It is now updated and working on 4.0. Sorry for the long hiatus once more.
Grimhat  [auteur] 2 apr om 4:26
Sure. I've completely forgotten to do it myself, apparently. I'll most likely update all my mods when the 4.0 patch goes out.
Toshiro Mifune 1 apr om 12:06
Hey brother, i was fooling around and made your mod to work on latest build. Is it ok if i upload and mention your original work?
Gods Bless.

Mod is now finally updated again. Sorry for the long hiatus.
Gbrille 9 nov 2022 om 16:21
Crash the game on startup. Avoid and use a alternative such as R27 Remove Default Empires which work. https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2172459312
Drackonous 1 mrt 2022 om 8:25
Anyway you can remove quick start from the game build aswell its super annoying

This mod causes a CTD when creating a new empire and you click on your ship selection tab in 3.3

@foley117 Thanks!

Fix for "EMPIRE_DESIGN_INVALID_GFX_CULTURE".

Replace the "default" document in the mod folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\824692743\prescripted_countries"

with the original for the game C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stellaris\prescripted_countries
Caylie Rae 8 okt 2021 om 20:58
This mod currently breaks my game, even if it's the only mod loaded. When designing a new empire the ship design button has red text on it. The tooltip when moused over says "EMPIRE_DESIGN_INVALID_GFX_CULTURE" and clicking on the button crashes the game.

@Chosen Mimes This mod does work, if you follow djvandebrakes comment. It completely disables all premade empires. It does not matter in which load order the mod is, bc it affects the premade empires, which usually don't get overwritten by other mods.
Chosen Mimes 6 aug 2021 om 11:02
This Mod does not work in the current patch. Even if It's at the very bottom of the load order.
Lordlony 29 apr 2021 om 15:00
@djvandebrake Thank you, seems like a rather random update for Paradox but no matter you made my day :D
djvandebrake 24 apr 2021 om 16:58
For those who want a fix to this until the author updates...
Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\824692743\prescripted_countries" and change the 89 to an 88 and vice versa on the file names. So humanoids becomes 88 and megacorps 89.
djvandebrake 21 apr 2021 om 11:27
To expand on TopLain - the game still works and this mod *mostly* works but the few empires they fixed now show up. So you don't get a huge list but you still get a handful of premades.
TopLain 21 apr 2021 om 3:01
3.0.2 broke this.

Paradox renamed the files in the "prescripted countries" directory - the numbers got swapped around.

I had the problem of the COM spawning in my games, but this is because it is linked to special spawning conditions:

The COM spawns when any Empire has the flag Human_1 and the Deneb system is not yet in use.

To remove the COM spawn from a playthrough with UNE, you need to remove the "Human_1" flag from the UNE in Steam\steamapps\common\Stellaris\prescripted_countries\00_top_countries.txt .

The flag is also applied to any custom-made empire that uses the Human portrait and starts in the Sol System. Therefore the same procedure has to be applied to that Empire in [USER]\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\user_empire_designs.txt

Grimhat  [auteur] 22 nov 2020 om 10:25
If anything, it's monarchical.
Grimhat  [auteur] 22 nov 2020 om 10:24
It's a pretender flag for EU4, and not anarchical.

Lyserus 1 nov 2020 om 2:11
oooo many thanks!
Grimhat  [auteur] 31 okt 2020 om 12:38
One day late, but it is updated now.
Grimhat  [auteur] 29 okt 2020 om 12:01
Ah, shit. Forgot the new patch launched today. I'll try to update my mods tomorrow.
Lyserus 29 okt 2020 om 9:59
Please update to remove that new ugly empire! :p
Grimhat  [auteur] 10 jul 2020 om 6:41
There you go. You most likely have a mod that adds more empires to the standard selection. Tends to follow some race icon mods and such. Loading this mod at the end will then also remove these empires, but I'd guess that might just be a bonus:P
enigma 10 jul 2020 om 6:02
Hello Grimhat! :steamhappy:
I'm really thankful for your work! But please, could you write in your description, that your mod MUST be loaded AT LAST in the mod list? That is a really important thing for people like me who are not into modding.
Why? Because it's simply not working if your mod is the first on the list or somewhere in the middle between a lot of other mods.
Yeah, I'm really thankful for your work. It's a f***ing nasty 'feature' of this game, to put some default species on your galaxy map, which you wanted to play with your own handmade species you created with hours of work.
And now that I found your mod and made it work, I'm thinking to make a 'Paradox species' and make it the enemy of everything else in the galaxy :steamhappy::steammocking:
Grimhat  [auteur] 2 jun 2020 om 13:04
Then it is a bug in the standard version. I'll look into it.
Mr. Nekuromu 2 jun 2020 om 9:52
Is this one extended due to the implementation of more empires? I downloaded the standard. You claim in the description of this one that the "Standard" keeps the preset empires in the menu but stops them from spawning. Although from my testing thus far they are actually removed. (Well, most of them are... some remain).

So is this extended version for the purpose of actually removing them all or is this extended version used for further "added on" empires removal?

If the latter is true then do I need both downloaded for ALL preset empires to be gone?
tilarium 13 mei 2020 om 7:46
Before anyone asks, the mod is still working wonders in 2.7 as far as I've encountered.
tilarium 4 mei 2020 om 13:21
Works fine for me as well as of a week or so ago when I started my most current game.
Grimhat  [auteur] 4 mei 2020 om 4:33
This one seems to be working on my end, but the other versions did not, and have been updated.
Nimrod 3 mei 2020 om 22:12
Just a heads up: this is not working atm with the latest patch it seems. cheers!
Grimhat  [auteur] 17 mrt 2020 om 6:43
Indeed. Was quite surprised myself how little they fucked with the files this time around.
tilarium 17 mrt 2020 om 6:25
Yeah, I'm pleasantly surprised how many mods are still working or getting updated quickly. This has to be the cleanest update and DLCs yet.
Grimhat  [auteur] 17 mrt 2020 om 6:10
Indeed. All my mods seem to be working as intended. Continuing to test and read into the files for now, and will most likely update everything tomorrow.
tilarium 17 mrt 2020 om 2:59
Before anyone asks, this is fine to use in 2.6 and Federations. The only thing is that is doesn't remove the new lithoid empire that was added.
Gbrille 5 jan 2020 om 5:07
Okay so this mod conflict with cultural overhaul which bring the premade back, a way of fixing it is to put cultural above this so the computer load the cultural premade then this mod tell them to go away while also letting cultural work in game.
Grimhat  [auteur] 2 jan 2020 om 1:49
Yeah. The new launcher can be a bit wonky at times:P
Gbrille 1 jan 2020 om 20:51
Relauching the game fixed it the other time. Odd. I didnt have it unselected the first time.
Gbrille 1 jan 2020 om 20:43
Premades are here too
Grimhat  [auteur] 6 feb 2019 om 7:29
Might just have been the mod not loading correctly.
The Dank Lord [GER] 6 feb 2019 om 7:22
Now it's working again. Don't know what it was... didn't change anything
The Dank Lord [GER] 5 feb 2019 om 12:03
nope, all premade as far as I know... I will look what's the probleme here in my game :D
Grimhat  [auteur] 5 feb 2019 om 11:37
Hmm. as far as I can see, it seems to be working as intended. Are you sure that the races you are seing does not come from another mod?
The Dank Lord [GER] 4 feb 2019 om 15:31
thanks buddy :cozybethesda:
Grimhat  [auteur] 4 feb 2019 om 14:37
Thx for the note. I'll look into fixing it tomorrow.
The Dank Lord [GER] 4 feb 2019 om 10:32
I just wanna say that the mod won't work anymore, at least on my game. Some, but not all premades now appearing again after the 2.2 update
Grimhat  [auteur] 3 jan 2019 om 8:47
^^
