i think it would be cool if there was an alternate version of this mod that let you just find these out in the world as books, like how on the elder scrolls online you can find books that teach you how to craft the armour and weapons of other races

Jeez, certain blog posts/Twitter feeds etc. from the devs back in the day led me to believe you could already do this but they never elaborated. Guess not if this mod exists. Thanks for this.

These books should be called "How to make clothing that's not offensive to any races, or species"

Theres the smart one that got over the SStutter, the one that loves human clothes and the one in armor that in the older versions gave you the mission to get durasteel armor for the floran hunting mission

I do enjoy dressing Glitch in Avian clothing. It's a shame each race doesn't comment on the others clothing chooses. could of been pretty funny.

can you make so you can craft modded races clothes? I mean some modded races (slime neko munari to name a few) have orginal clothing

alls it does it teach you how to make the other races clothes.
They already exist ingame i just added those book items so other races could learn how to craft them.

Cause I found this mod called the Artifical Intelligence Race mod and I think the male with headphones + hoodie would look pretty sick.

it gives you whatever racial clothing you buy.
so if you're a human and you buy the apex clothing you can craft the apex clothing as if you started as an apex.

when you buy one of them you learn them as you pick it up....like when you first mine some clay you learn how to make bricks.

I have two questions: one, does it give all the starting clothes, for both genders regardless of your character's gender? Two, how does one USE the recipe books? I'm not sure how to do it.

I remember seeing it and i was on a big "ghost people" from fallout new vegas buzz.

I remember having that race installed most of their clothing was craftable by all races a "player.config.patch" job or something so the player reguardless of race knows how to craft them.

I'll look into it because theres ALOT to that race. from clothing,cars,villages....hell even a passive high jump and reduced fall damage.

nope for now it only works for each races clothing styles

yeah in time when i mess around with the files some more i'm sure to find a way of doing it that way....maybe i'll look at that poster you get in your locker on that first mission...see how that works out..... I more less wanted to get a basic working version up before messing with it further.

if i do make books for each races armors i'll see about sticking them in with treasure pools so you can find them while exploring as well as buying them at a high price if you can't find them.

You could change the crafting book into a item instead of a block, but hey this was what I was looking for to be able to craft all the starter outfits.

Does this also include each race's armor?
