happy starbound finally added them

Ever wanted to learn another races clothes because you thought Glitch Clothing would look good on an Apex?
Ever wanted that human to dress like a Savage Floran?

Now you can!....guess you expected that huh?

Adds books you can buy at the beakeasy for 1000 pixles a piece to learn each races clothing recipes,
so then you can craft them yourself at the spinning wheel!




As far as balance goes you'll still need to beat dreadwing and fork over 1000 pixles a piece to learn one races set of clothing.



now it ain't perfect but it works. :P
I started with the clay material.....when you first collect it you learn how to make clay bricks right?
then i just custom made my own one and added in each races style of clothing...slapped their ugly mug on each of them added their to the beakeasy and BAM!

done.


If you find any bugs give me a shout and i'll look into them,
I give it a firm testing so there shouldn't be any.

NOTE
since it was made from the programming of the clay block it can be placed and the item will turn into a type of block...thats normal...thats how its done...
if a friend wants the book throw it at him don't place or it'll be lost...also hopefully he has this mod as well or else we're all in trouble because someones going to be disconnected.

oops i felt an unused player.config.patch behind from my jackhammer mod....
It wasn't used at all nor did it have any effect but its better just in case it does something!

i think it would be cool if there was an alternate version of this mod that let you just find these out in the world as books, like how on the elder scrolls online you can find books that teach you how to craft the armour and weapons of other races

Jeez, certain blog posts/Twitter feeds etc. from the devs back in the day led me to believe you could already do this but they never elaborated. Guess not if this mod exists. Thanks for this.

These books should be called "How to make clothing that's not offensive to any races, or species"

but which Floran though? :P theres like 4 or something.
Theres the smart one that got over the SStutter, the one that loves human clothes and the one in armor that in the older versions gave you the mission to get durasteel armor for the floran hunting mission

I do enjoy dressing Glitch in Avian clothing. It's a shame each race doesn't comment on the others clothing chooses. could of been pretty funny.

can you make so you can craft modded races clothes? I mean some modded races (slime neko munari to name a few) have orginal clothing

it should it.

alls it does it teach you how to make the other races clothes.
They already exist ingame i just added those book items so other races could learn how to craft them.

Cause I found this mod called the Artifical Intelligence Race mod and I think the male with headphones + hoodie would look pretty sick.
