You do realise that you can just press F10 in creative mode and get the blueprint for the trebuchet in the trailer, right?

no you dont do nothing wrong the rope is broken but I think the game will remove this bug

When I release the rope holding down the ?arm? of the trebuchet, the projectile doesn't lift off. It only stays in the holder. What is wrong or what I am I doing wrong?

i got it to work kinda with the new block its hard to figure out how to make it go farther. I think i used the settings 0, 90,90

@TheWickedPreach Look at when this was created. 12th of febuary, LONG before the release. It is a replica of the trailer tremubchet which did not use the new block. I appretiate critisism as I have shown in the past but please, that is completely unhelpful, which you would have realised if you looked down one comment.

Yeah it seems the new update u need to use the detatch block, so will have a release a new version .

Yes has anyone succesfully get it to launch off with the new update on this one. I can't get the ball to detach even with the new update maybe my settings are wrong

@filthypeasant it is not bugged, Medieval Engineers wasn't released with the same physics as is shown in the trailer; there is no breaking for for ropes and so it wont detatch until the developers actually put rope stress in.

No it is a world. With blueprint it wouldnt have the aim rack, and sometimes 'rotors' are a bit weird when it comes to pasting.

I have an idea for the rop ( insert and item called knife at the end of the arm and he will cut the rope when going through).

add some weights in the bucket and delete the last part of the arm when it reches the peak of the launch and it'll work,

The catch block is the thingy through which the rotating plank goes. You used the other one (the one near the wheel), and I am wondering if they differ or is it just aesthetical.

@Masked Death, Yeah it seems that has become a problem now. It has become obvious to me that the physics engine used in the trailer is quite different from the one that was released. I mean in the trailer it didnt even use weight blocks! And I've pretty much made it block for block estimating plank lengths ect.

Also I do not know what you mean by the catch lock? I think maybe the model changed in the update

For meit didn't have enough power. When the lever was in fully vertical position, the ball hit it from the back instead of flying over it.

@Standley yeah that is a problem with ropes in game atm, as they do not have tension added to them unlike in te trailer.

Whenever I fire it the arm/lever/throwingy bit works fine but the rock doesnt move at all. The rope just gets longer.
