i find AI subjects like using this instead of annex revolter, and sometimes they'll leave revolters alive.

Hey PlummusDucis, thank you for the feedback! I wasn't been able to reproduce the bug. I already check if the country exist on several occasions. Would you be interested in sharing your save so I can check that way? :)

Hi Sn1per, loving this mod. I've found one bug where if an AI country has fully annexed another and hasn't integrated those provinces yet, I can "return" the core provinces to myself, despite seemingly having no cores there. It hasn't impacted my game but maybe a check to see if the original tag still exists would solve it? Keep up the great work!

Hey Faninfo_YT, there is no restriction to cultures for returning cores to nations. There is however a religious group restriction if the target nation is not your subject or ally. If you want to remove that you need to delete or comment out lines 108-112 in in_game\common\peace_treaties\return_cores_to_country.txt:

the mod is forever loading and seems to not actually function, me and a friend have a different checksum when we both have it on.

BTW great mod. I some point I though "why the hell I can't return cores to other countries as in EU4, it has to be the mod for that". I looked in workshop and here you are :)

You've made a mistake in your localizations. You used everywhere annotation "l_english" instead of "l_polish" for example. That's why they're not working.

Update:

Lowered the base cost of locations to 0.75 with a slight penalty if it goes to you or a subject.

Added capital locations to the potential block so they show up in the list, even though they can't be returned.

Update:

The Emperor now receives +0.5 Imperial Authority for each HRE location returned through the peace option.

The AI is now more likely to return HRE core locations when the winning country is the Emperor.

Update: Countries now lose their core in a location, if their dominant culture was not the same as the locations dominant culture.

usually pdox rules are when you bend someone over you can request their uncaptured forts, but not their allies. in reverse we could give them our allies lands to settle a peace as well, even if they were untouched. i don't mind either way. ill keep trying it and see if i can pay more attention the next time something odd happens.

Did venice still existed when you tried it? If yes, did the tooltip actually say it would transfer ownership to venice?

On another note. Dou you think it should'nt be possible to return cores if the location has an uncaptured fort?

Right now the warscore cost just doubles for that location.

doesnt always work it seems. not sure why. i used it to return cores to venice from verona, but when i peaced out verona remained the owner.

mind you it was a bit silly of a request. i was at war with genoa for their islands, and succeeded. i hadn't occupied any of mainland italy, and the provinces had uncaptured forts in territory that didn't belong to genoa. anyway, it was an option in the peace menu so i took it but they didn't transfer ownership.
