Also, the Warthog actually is pretty bad when maneuvering on slopped terrain I'll agree. Those who said the Ghost was bad idk where they get that idea since it handles well imho.
As much as I like how good the banshees feel when I got to drive them, I'd much rather the banshee speed be nerfed a bit just so the enemy banshees aren't so annoying to deal with.
Like everyone else says, the warthog is just flat out not good. Any kind of significantly uneven terrain or jumps makes the thing go tumbling and the gravity on it is a tad harsh (doesn't fit with the rest of Halo 1's physics if that makes sense).
My experience using it (I was primarily the one driving it up until the warthog run) was that the warthog feels like it both turns too sharp and not sharp enough at the same time, which wasn't a huge issue until I got to the warthog run in particular. The underpasses with the pillars are terrible because the warthog both "turns not sharp enough" to emulate what Halo 2, 3, and Reach's hog are capable of and turns "too sharp" to do normal Halo 1 warthog stuff.
I believe you can play across 2 systems, but that still means you need to play splitscreen.
I'm sure others will love this.
They're the only thing I believe that needs major balancing.
Everything else is fine, challenging, and only I feel at fault when I die.
Except for the banshees.
That and it forcing you to use the charging handle every time you reload, even if there's still bullets in it is really annoying.
Anyhow, the Hog handles good imho. I really like the feel it reminds me of the Warthog section on Halo 2 E3 New Mombasa. The Ghost has shielding and handles well. Frankly I'm surprised how much you've done with this! Gotta say I love the mod so far.
I can't remove the black squares on the crosshairs so I'll just be using the blind skull.
I like the few things added here and the changes to the sandbox. I like how the assault rifle is brutal but its only 36 rounds.
Vehicles are very odd. I like the tank but the warthog is a pain to drive, as well as the ghost. The Banshee also moves a bit too fast. Also, is the Kestral suppose to be able to be flyable? Played it on assault of the control room and it acted like a faster Ghost.
Smooth work with enemy placement and changes to types, could go for some more expanding on the flood tbh.
I love the marines and the odst's used.
All in all, lots of good things here, but some work is needed.
