I'm not sure, the similar framework has been implemented in Der Shredder‘s mod WARNO Realism Improved (https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3204338456) , and Yokaiste's Sandbox Mod (https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3296415395)

@Finale L'eterno, I haven't tried modifying the combat group sizes. It's not a bad idea but I think I'll have to figure out some UI stuff or else it might crash.

In case you've forgotten, I'd like to again make this suggestion, which I think is important.

At present, once I try to implement a Mech Battalion within a combat group, I am limited to forming an Infantry Bat. or Tank Bat. and so forth. Consequently, when planning large-scale (more than battalion-level) campaigns, I must employ 5-10 decks for both side, which often leads to headaches and confusion.

Hope you lift the restrictions on Free Deck in future update, firstly, permit each troop type to own more than 20 cards rather than 10.

Then allow each battle group to have 6-8 companies or even more, and each company could have 6-8 platoons or even more, even allowing each platoon to use 4+ slots, so that the deck can reach its full potential.

What will happen? In this framework, we can fully establish a brigade-level combat group, complete with several battalion-level units, rather than merely the incomplete battalion-level formations under the Eugen framework.

Units from WIF performed very well!

However, I still wanna see some well-designed units from vanilla and CRM, like various M109 variants and air-launched cruise missiles.

And I found that S-400 combined with the Pantsir AA-array can effectively destroy virtually all aircraft. Might it be possible to extend the range of air-to-air missiles for modern fighters (i.e. F-16XM, F-35, Su-57, etc.)?

Chin, you're doing an excellent job with all your mods - and thank you for that. Possibly i would've stopped already enjoying this game, if not you. However i think CRM x WIF will just benefit, if you could add the legacy units (from the base game) so you would have an option to deploy both new modern units from WIF and the original

Alright my dudes, we are so back. NATO freedom deck for all countries besides the US has been added (US is separate), and the other freedom decks are now back! I've also figure out the missile interception thing so that'll be in the next update.

I have to update it! Working on it today :) I haven't messed with Army General at all. I can decrease it a little more. Maybe the WIF units are by default a little faster. And yes the dead bodies should still stay. I just copy pasted that file from CRM. I also copy pasted the AI folder but maybe there is something I missed. I'll double check!

could you slow down unit speed i found that the unit speed is faster than the one in chrinochrist which I think is perfect in terms of speed

Awesome!, thanks @chinofchrist ! Will try it out after work. I don't wanna spam ya, but was wondering if you carried over an option from the original CRM so that dead bodies, destroyed equipment remain on the battlefield throughout the game? If not - whether it's possible to add (unless it requires too much work) Also - I've noticed that skirmish AI tends to organize troops in blobs, and is it specifics of your AI tuning or game's behaviour in general? Thanks again !

If your were subscribed before, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1611600 and DELETE the 3602635983 folder. This is the old CRM x WIF. You don't need it anymore. Just make sure there is a folder called: 3604007436
