Finished a run today. Seemed pretty good to me as is now.

Ok so HQ lvl4 is now unlocked like before (check if any map is completed using "OR" logic node) and it is unlocked whenever you finish any of the main outposts. So it is done redundantly in 4 spots. I hope that helps. The HQ lvl5 requirement is now completely gone.

For my playthroughs the urgency is coming from my Ambient Attacks 2.0 mod anyhow.

Cant help with the coop stuff. That is a mystery on its own. But I will try to add more fail-safes so HQ lvl 4 will be unlocked reliably.

Sorry my bad, it's HQ lvl 5 that is problematic, i've missspoke in the last comment.
It was a co-op campaign.

One more thing, the cheat for unlocking all buildings only worked for the admin (host).

Hmm even with level 4 already. That should only require a single outpost to be finished. Did you play coop or singleplayer? I have never played coop and have no idea how mods affect it.

The issue was with HQ lvl 4 not being unlocked after building outposts on all 3 biomes.
That aside, think this mod is awesome and not sure i'd have the stamina for the regular campaign.
As per your suggestion, i used cheats to circumvent the problem and finish the game.

I have updated the mod so HQ lvl 5 isnt gated by completing the three main missions anymore. However, lvl 4 still requires you to finish any of the three campaign missions.

I have also removed several towers and weapons from the game that I found redundant because one of my biggest issues with the game is that it is so bloated with redundant stuff

As the mod says, it provides streamlined campaign. Research tree makes more sense, there are less repeatable conversations and unnecessary dialogue, the pace is better, more relaxed, which I liked. The only problem is with the bug already mentioned in the comments. When I joined in a coop, even using cheat codes didn't work for me but worked only for the host (he could create new stuff from the research).

Sorry to hear that. Will have to revisit the mission flow. Your game is messed up either way. You can only unlock the research via cheat from here.

Well i started the "streamlined" campaign at around 15. Oct, so about 7 days ago. And yes i have done everything else, made outposts everywhere. The only thing i now have to is to power up the Rift Station, build those 4 stabilizers but i can't create super heated plasma because i can't research it since it's under HQ lvl 5 research which is gray.

Thanks for flagging this. When did you launch the game? I had this issue with the version used for the initial upload. But it has been fixed for me afterwards. Is your campaign that old?

The research should be unlocked after finishing the desert, acid and volcano outposts.

Hey so i've come across a game breaking problem. The tech tree is blocking me from researching HQ lvl 5.

I've reached the quest line where the objective says:

Prepare the Rift Station to power up the portal back to Earth.
- Deliver super plasma to the Rift Station

In the research tree, the button is gray.
Headquarter lvl 5 - LOCKED (with a yellow !) msg: This research item requires to unlock.

Better wait a little. Just came to the endgame and saw the cost for the mega structures. Next release will address that. Just a huuuuuuge grind without a mod like this

Played only 12h of the game and already i see the need for this mod, will try it and rate it.
