If you had the time/energy I'd prefer if it had a low constant rad production (like 30-60 rads/s) and a higher burst (~5x) while the charge is being drained
Additional suggestion; if adjacent liquid only caused a constant drain when above 'drawn a critter/flood a building' quantities (which is 35% max mass I believe). I've no clue how much more difficult it would be to implement that, though
You could, if its feasible, also add the constant drain to gasses at high concentrations as well (300kg, higher?), but that sounds like an even greater reach than the last idea, could be easy or a nightmare to implement
I'll run some tests in sandbox tomorrow and see if I can narrow it down.
(I'll post a bug report later once I've done some more attempts to recreate the error/see where else it happens, this is just a headsup for others using fasttrack).

you can increase those power costs if you want more drawbacks, they stack up quite a lot
it took like 2-3 meteors in one area to get through at times.
