Nice concept, a thing that might be also cool (but I bet its out of the reach of modders) is that you can maybe create your country if you have enough influence. Or something like becoming a mercenary company with being able to recruit units to get more money.

@Tricky Spirit Thanks for playing my mod and thanks for the feedback on construction sectors not functioning correctly a recent game update seems to have broken it. I will fix soon and I do have plans to expand the mod and any suggestions are always welcome.

This is a really cool proof of concept at the moment! I didn't have any problem with it, though for some reason the country I was building corporate construction sectors in paid 100% of the costs for them, which... needless to say, completely broke balancing as I spammed 200 construction sectors with no problem. And in fact, it made me more profitable, as it forced the country my sectors were in to import a butt ton of wood, and I had invested in trade docks as my company thoroughput bonus.

But it's shockingly stable for something that bends the rules so much.

@MarkJerue if you mean play as the playable company then nope but the AI countries can still use the base game company unchanged.

@DraconicBread you should be able to build "Corporate Construction Sectors" in the country you have investment rights in which gives you construction

Please have it set a modifier when swapping to the company. That way for alt history mods you can check that to make the company instead of being in alaska.

@Ninephoenix it's an unfortunate consequence as you have to own territory or the game ends and the game gave errors if I set the population to 0. To quote lord farquaad "Some of you May Die, But it's a Sacrifice I am Willing to Make"

@ranixcz and @Rapi I'll look into adding a modifier for treaty acceptance based on something like pre-construction cost income or the rank of the company if that's the kind of thing you both mean, I'm also open to other ideas for what should determine the treaty acceptance modifier

Could there be a modifier in treaties so that, based on the profit and/or value of the company, other countries become more interested in accepting the investment rights treaty

No i mean that i have real issues to get into other markets as game count me as having 0 gdp 😕 but name change would be also nice 😅 perhaps if you had 2+ investment agreements ?

@Cerberus I'm open to the E&F mod or any mod using code from my mod although I would appreciate being given credit. I haven't contacted any of the devs of E&F but I would be open to working with them however I have features I would like like to add for this mod before I work on any compatibility patches.

@Rapi Thanks for the feedback I'll increase the Fake Company Income building to 100 workers.
For the dividends I put it at 65 as there are two techs which increase it by 5% each. I'll test to see if it works starting at 100 percent and with all the tech.
I'll look into the Corporate Construction Sector as it should only be paid for by the player corporation.

I have a question: in the Corporate Construction Sector, both my country and the one I’m investing in bear the construction costs. Shouldn’t only my corporation be responsible for paying the operating cost of the construction?

Feedback on the new fake company, with fewer than 100 workers, the building doesn’t recruit anyone. This is a limitation of the game itself, but I believe it unbalances the company’s performance since my income is 7,000 while the company is making only 600 in profit.
Another suggestion in the the law_pc_corp_economy increase country_government_dividends_efficiency_add from 65 to 75, so that we get a 100% return on government dividends.

ps: made a test with 100 work in the fake money company and work much better

i could recoment seen if is posible to make some compatibility or more like use/share content for joint work, with the E&F mod, to use the complexity of that financial mod.

@kjujp Thanks for playing my mod, the monopoly thing is a good idea and I will look into it but idk if it's possible.
For buying buildings is a good idea and I tried to implement it during mod development but couldn't work out how.
For increase cash amount there isn't a good way to do it so my plan is to increase the debt limit that I can do.

Cool mod, I think it will become more extensive over time.

I have a few suggestions:

- It would be good if you could reach an agreement with certain countries to gain a monopoly on specific buildings.

- It would also be great if you could buy existing buildings instead of constantly building them.

- One last suggestion: Is there a way to increase the maximum amount of cash you can have at one time?

It would make it easier to plan your company's growth.

Very interesting mod!

Some suggestions: probably most events should be disabled for player's country as they dont really make sense. Especially famine ones.

An ability to change PMs is not possible i assume? Guess not, rip

There are some typos - primany instead of primary in JEs, 'comApany' in corporate resources JE, 'as our company AS grows', 'bulidng them selves' instead of building themselves.

I also dont see a way to increase research speed? Not sure if its something that will increase automatically later on.

The mod has a very interesting concept. One suggestion would be to change the USA event for the purchase of Alaska, since I’m the one who receives the event and not Russia. Also, if Russia goes to war and the enemy occupies the Russian-American Company I also get the occupation debuff in that state.

Thanks for playing my mod, for provinces starving do you mean only your own provinces or the provinces of every nation.

In the context of the game corporate state means a government that is a mediator between groups of people (with the groups being based on the economic sector the person works in). So I feel is's not applicable see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corporate_statism .
