@A1A5T0R :
If the folder paths where you put the files are correct, then you might need to double check if you have copy and paste the path in $basetexture in Element viewer is correct, you should paste the path starting from models/workshop/…/…/… (folder and file name where you put)

i've been following that tutorial to a T and it would appear that the police VMT/VTFs dont appear to work, yes they are in the correct folders. I have tested with brickfloor001a like in the video and that works fine, im not sure what im doing wrong

Right, so here's the down load link:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/10Mr4jx6kWGdjsWtdGdAMbC7d6z5ktZLI/view?usp=sharing
You must first subscribe the following items in SFM workshop: TF2 (Hexed) General's Wear , maskless spy and Sny

And here's a tutorial on how to overwrite and reskin the texture:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdgeRDPofg0

The General's wear is for the tunic, in which the VMT and VTF file (generals_wear_black_color) should put in the following:
Steam\steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\workshop\materials\models\workshop\player\items\spy\generals_wear

For "stylish_spy_black_PC" and "stylish_spy_black_black_Insp" VMT / VTF files, those are for pants and inner shirts, and they should be put in the following:
Steam\steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\workshop\materials\models\player\spy

@A1A5T0R :
Not yet, but if you want those custom reskin textures, I can share the Google drive download here
A1A5T0R 8 月 6 日 上午 7:39
I dont suppose there's a public reskin for the ensemble that's available?

@A1A5T0R :
The cosmetics are mostly reskins and materials overwrite for spy’s General Wear, Soldier’s Bobby Bonnet, Sny, and peak caps from British police in Call of Duty - modern warfare.

I Need to ask where/how you managed to get the British Bobby so good and what cosmetics/tricks you used
