@Natangry the most recent update solved this issue in the base game itself.
@Kilo Thank you, I removed all features besides the filth reduction, as they are now all part of the base game.

from unstable patch notes: Sentience Catalyst now removes roaming and fence-blocked status from animals

the rest of your mod will still apply and be useful, but just thought you might like to know for when that drops! thanks for making this, made the catalyst so much more useful

@Fokson It is now compatible with mods that allow stacking, works the way you described in your comment.

I'm not sure when it happened, but one of the updates broke the filth rate slider and now animals are stuck at 50% filth after sentience catalyst regardless of what I adjust it to.

Could we get a little compatibility patch for "Friend Clever" that allows its stacking effect to multiplicatively reduce filth rate for each level? ( ie, 50% -> 25% -> 12%, etc ).

Also, might be an incompatibility with that mod or another, but setting filth rate to anything other than 50% in the mod settings does nothing - filth rate always remains at 50% for me.

@hmph. Thanks for the info, it should be fixed now. Animals won't enter "roaming" mental state if either "doesn't need pen" or "can use allowed areas" are enabled in the mod options.

Really makes the sentient catalyst more meaningful for low trainability animals.
One issue I've noticed though: seems that sentience boosted pen animals still occasionally get the "roaming" mental state. (my lava snail keeps trying to slither away!) Its not game breaking or anything, I just thought it might be something you'd want to look take a look at.

@SanguinarcAQL While working on update I figured out how to do what you asked, so now animals with Sentience Catalyst won't trigger the animal filth alarm, regardless of their actual filth rate. This can be turned on/off in the mod settings, it's on by default.

@Sotetsu Managed to add the things you mentioned, they are off by default, so I don't surprise people who downloaded without these options in mind, you just need enable the 3 options in the mod menu (Sentience boosted farm animal doesn't need pen; Sentience boosted farm animal can use allowed ares; Sentience boosted farm animal can open doors). Hope this is what you were looking for, let me know if you find any issues!

I love this, and am really surprised it isn't in the base game. Also, maybe this is out of scope, but could you also add an option in which pen animals behave like non-pen animals? Like, if I use a catalyst on a chicken, I should be able to assign it to areas without a pen and it won't run away.

@SanguinarcAQL The notification is tied to the filth rate of each individual animal. Animals with a filth rate above 4.0 will trigger the warning, animals below that won't. I don't think I can exempt animals with a sentience catalyst from that notification. If it bothers you the two options I see are either reducing the filth rate all the way to make it below 4.0 for all animals with the sentience catalyst, or using a mod that disables the notification for all animals (I've seen a few on the workshop)
