E.g. if you craft a Shotgun (2 reclaimed) using a Vending Machine (5 reclaimed), it also spawns 3 barrels (or whatever other item you specify as the change item)

Hmm how many crafts did you do before this happened?
after a while of INTENSIVE usage, the crafting menu stops working properly and loops on crafting one item that has been crafted before
(you make metal scrap, then it automatically makes metal scrap regardless of what your actual choice was. Its only currently fixable by rejoining)
Npc drops is a mod that I think is already made. Check out the recommended mods in the discussion post!
In a way, it can make the jmod's entities.

Create an ingredient group: HL2 grenade then add 'weapon_grenade' into that ingredient group.
Create an ingredient group: steel can then add '(prop's model file path)' into that ingredient group.

No it doesn't to my knowledge. but what I mean is like If you found a way to integrate it into Jmod like being able to craft the bench from this mod at a Jmod bench OR using Jmod materals in this mod's crafting bench to craft things OR making another mod that makes fiddling with the crafting recipes in jmod and making new craftables entirely. I feel like that would be dope. I don't know how to mod so I dunno if any of this is possible.
I am curious what you mean by "making this work with jmod". Does it mean its conflicting with jmod?

And another moment, I think that there should be an option to toggle the ability to use constrained props or entities as crafting components
Thanks a lot. One last thing, do you think you could let us choose the Cancel Recipe button? "Q" can be rather annoying when you have lengthy recipes in progress but you still need to continue playing (since Q is reserved for menu).

No sadly it's not vanilla, it's a standalone mod but pretty much everyone uses it. It's name is "Advanced Duplicator 2" by WireTeam
Im sorry if I'm a bit outdated, isn't advance dupe a vanilla thing already? (The ones uploaded in the workshop)

If you manage to replicate it, I could probably add that as a feature instead haha just need to control it. But if it does happen again just remember you can press 'Q' to cancel ongoing crafts!
I havent tested this on dedicated servers, i might look into it

Is it really endless? I added a craft queing option recently, does it say anything like how many crafts left on queue?

You could always change the requirements higher for a product. Or better yet just get rid of the recipe in the list, it's modifiable!
