I tend to build up an actual personality for them based off their backstory and actions in game. So it'd be great to be able to set the personality perks to ones that make sense
Also, I would like to ask: any chance you can make it so that affection is lost for everyone on the mission whenever a soldier dies? It doesn't make any sense that it didn't affect anyone's status, at least not from what I can see...
It has a button prompt when on the personnel screen, but doesn't actually open chat.
I suspect, something about the way this mod adds extra perks messes with the game.
I had it installed and one of my Reapers ended up ALWAYS getting revealed when taking a shot, even if I used Sting. And with regular shots, that kind of check where there's still a chance he might stay undetected didn't occurr anymore.
This was not a matter of having it installed mid-playthrough. None of my current mods had been added or removed after I started my current playthrough. However, the problem itself didn't manifest until I had already played for for a while.
After I uninstalled the mod and nuked my config folder, it went back to normal.
I haven't tried switching the mod to being purely cosmetic, since I'm not that attached to this mod yet.
Outside of the bug it caused me,though, I gotta say the concept is neat and I liked the way the passive perks made each soldier feel even more like an individual.
@HKR31 You can copy paste posters as long as the same poster number already exists. For example to move poster_002.png from campaign 131 to campaign 132, you must first make a dummy poster_002 in the 132 campaign and then once it's in the folder you can copy paste. That's because the game keeps track of what poster numbers it has created and will not load poster numbers it hasn't made in that campaign yet.
Would you happen to know if maybe mods that edit the photobooth could interfere with the deletion process? Like I use some of the custom poses mods.
They seem to stick around for me. I haven't checked for how long, but if I go to the barracks right after, they're still there.
I'm having a minor issue where, whenever I chat with my soldiers, it creates a memorial poster as though they have died.
I've checked the actual memorial and no one is there. So I'm not sure what's happening.
