描述

Introduces an all-new Affection System and fully-featured Relationship Simulator that some of you really wanted me to make.

🫂 New Affection System
After every mission, soldiers will gain (or lose) Affection based on performance, survival, and team synergy. Every decision on the battlefield now carries emotional weight. (You can see your soldier's affection in a little heart in their Armory screen)

💬 Chat With Your Squad – New Living Quarters Feature
Spend time in the barracks like never before. A new Chat System lets you talk directly with your soldiers between missions. Choose from professional check-ins, casual conversations, flirty banter, or deeper, emotional talks.

💞 Full Romance Progression
As affection rises, unlock a range of relationship paths—from respectful camaraderie to close friendship, romantic involvement, and even marriage proposals. XCom2 is now a dating sim!

✨ Personality Perks
High-affection soldiers unlock unique passive perks. Customizable in the .ini (or if you prefer the mod to be cosmetic only these perks can be turned off entirely). Perks made by me and trneedaname.

📷 NEW Assign Custom Portraits
With the button in the lower right corner of the chat box you can assign any of your posters for a soldier to use. (Since these are files in your documents folder, you can edit them in paint and get any image you want loaded into the game.)

💌 Commander... they trust you with their lives. Will you earn their hearts?

-How do you gain affection actually?
Win Mission +2 to every soldier who participated.
Lose Mission -2 to every soldier who participated.
Killed a Chosen +2 to every soldier who participated.
Killed a Chosen for good +15 to every soldier who participated.
Soldier Unscathed +3 to that soldier.
Soldier Lightly Injured -1 to that soldier.
Soldier Gravely Injured -2 to that soldier.
Soldier Captured -4 to every other soldier.
Milestones at 25, 50 and 75. Meaning if they hit that Affection they fall below the milestone.

setaffection "Jane Kelly" 30.0
Little icon in the bottom right of the chat screen let's you set a color for that soldier's response text, thought it'd be cute.

Is there a way to set the character's perks?

I tend to build up an actual personality for them based off their backstory and actions in game. So it'd be great to be able to set the personality perks to ones that make sense

Not uncommon to do PC gaming from the couch or similar, somewhere where grabbing a mouse/keyboard every time may be a hassle. Dunno how hard controller support actually is to add, but that could be a nice touch.

just use a keyboard and mouse, unless you don't have one then i don't even know how you're on PC lol

Man, I really want to use this and medals, but neither button can be reached on Controller. Sucks the mouse can't be used at all when Interface is set to Controller.
