im currently having issues with it not showing lead and not turning to where im looking or just being very jittery my seat is inside a ships bridge and im wondering if this might be part of the issue?

Yes, it's possible. This can be achieved by transmitting a composite signal from the sub-microcontroller to the main microcontroller via hardpoint connector or radio.
Or, if the gunpod's orientation is fixed, you could install a physics sensor at the base of the hardpoint and adjust the muzzle offset value.
