@Harlequin From a theoretical point of view, the timeline is quite open to interpretation. Maybe Mossman was only 20 at the time, which is why Gordon Freeman was hired instead, and she started as an intern. Personally, she doesn’t look or feel like someone nearing 50 in Half-Life 2.

To clarify, Mossman was probably around 27-29 since Freeman is around 27 in HL1 and they both applied for the same position at the same time. She's probably like 47-49 in HL2 if it's literally 20 years later as it is usually stated to be.

@Mλrsh_guy09 This has been mentioned before, and since there were so many comments, you might have missed it. This is just a scenario idea where she wasn’t placed in the "Anomalous Materials" section, but could have been assigned to other departments. It was a model request. In HL2, she’s in her 40s, so for this version, she would need to be in her 20s. It could even be interpreted as her being an intern. There are a lot of creative ways to expand on this idea.
