Judith Mossman (Young)

I created this model as a version of the 40-year-old Mossman from Half-Life 2, imagining her 20 years ago when she worked at Black Mesa. I assumed she would be around 20. As you know, according to the story, Judith Mossman applied for a position in Sector C to work with abnormal materials, but instead, Gordon Freeman was hired. For my version, I imagined her working in a different sector at Black Mesa.

Anyway, I started by basing the model on an HLa character, working on the mesh topology while trying to replicate Judith Mossman's appearance. Once I matched the facial structure to Mossman’s unique contours, I adjusted the body, clothes, and other accessories like the pants to fit the same style. The armature I used was more comprehensive, but not suitable for GMod—more aligned with SFM. So, I had to connect it to Mossman’s original armature and rework all the weight painting accordingly. It took me about 3 days to complete. The QC file had some issues with eye positioning, which delayed the process a bit, but in the end, it’s finished. The model consists of three separate parts: 1. A ragdoll with a different armature, 2. The main model, 3. An ID card.
