Sharing this again as we don't have a sandbox option to disable the mod menu options of users.


So how is this balanced for (the future) multiplayer if any player can just adjust the settings via mod menu. Can we have a sandbox version for only admins to adjust it?

Can you add a % to the spawn rate? Cuz it's annoyin that after 3 loads in the game no cars spawn

That should be a vanilla feature lol. The house key should normally also work with the garage door. Its unrealistic that you have to break into your own garage xD

mod vehicles are spawning with windows armor, and sometimes i got my car into the crash, like its taking the nearest spawned car, no matter is it spawned by story? or on park.

@UltraSkuf I didn't consider user spawns new character at the same place, I will take a look if I can prevent it. I thought that wouldn't be happened in Vanilla game.

The machine spawned by the mod replaces the nearest vehicle. When a new character appeared, the mod replaced my truck full of loot with an empty police car. The mod is crap.

There is a bug currently when you change your occupation to occupations w/ special vehicles in a current save and restarting your save(quitting and loading). It will swap your "free" car along its contents with a vehicle based on their profession.

In my last play, I had a car in the driveway of the house I spawned in, and guess what?
I had to give at least 50 Zeds a bonk on the noggin to find the damned key, so I'm gonna give this mod a try.

I really like the idea of having a chance to have a profession related spawn-in (it would really match well with the mod that swaps the b42 gun kit with like Hammer/Saw/Screwdriver for Carpenter start) especially with all the individual service/work vehicles they are introducing to add loot sets...

What kind of profession might spawn with a Mobile Library in the their driveway?

@ClarkPG Nothing will happen because this mod does a thing when character was newly created. however, even it's mid-save, you made a new character or respawned then will work.

@AfroRobot When your survived time is less than 30 in game min when you rejoin, mod will spawn a key again. it's kind of thing to avoid lag when you spawn at first time since there are a lot of mods that run their function when spawn.
no matter it's standard or debug. it's intended.

I didn't see this anywhere so I just want to point out if you are in DEBUG mode this mod will respawn a new car each time you load the game. Quirk or a Feature? Who Knows.

@Бен If you think mod checks vehicles that located too far, change distance option. You can change checking distance from 15 tiles to 300 tiles.
Min/Max is for fuel(gasoline) capacity.

what are the ideal mod settings for realism (Min: ?? / Max: ??) the default values give the keys to the car that is parked near the neighboring house across the street.

a small idea
i'm sure lua allows you to find out which car is closest to the player, if the car is near the player's spawn, then give the keys to it.
