ayoo everytime I try to load this mod, it crashes and tells me I have to use my game's older configeration, but when I do try the game's it fails to load.

Updated the map for version game version 165214. I rebaked the map and I think this should solve the offset issue with LOS tool. I tweaked the area around Anna/Alpha a bit.

Is it intentional that at Anna/Alpha point there is practically a blind spot near the river? Units can’t spot anything there unless they are around 100 meters away or near the river themselves.

Due to my summer vacation having some unexpected twists and turns I didn't really the time to start troubleshooting until this week. However, I was unable to replicate the issue with pathfinding (using the publicly available version). I did a couple of tests on both sides and I didn't notice any glaring issues with the pathfinding.

hello, there is a problem with click and destination. When you select somewhere on the map, the unit isn't going exactly where you have selected. I hope you will understand what i want to say. I love your map, i hope you will find a solution

Sorry, but Salo is too large. Large cities are performance intensive and really time consuming to make. There are some interesting areas *near* Salo on a quick glance, but I won't promise anything. I am currently working on my next map and it is trudging along.

That is Finnish countryside for you. The roads are 98% like in real life. There are some really small alterations in a few places.

There is only one church in that area IRL and it is included. There are some grain silos in a few places to offer vision. Otherwise the fact of the matter is that besides a couple ~3 to 4 story apartment buildings, the place really doesn't have much in the way of tall buildings.

Prob something like singleplayer? just a simple skirmish scenario, i wouldn't imagine it as a balanced scenario for multiplayer, but i could see the fun in it if you made BLUE SIDE spawn in the city and it's outskirts, with their only capture point being the inner part of the city, there could be additional points on the outskirts of the map that can give you more resources, BLUEFOR only has only land and air corridor so they'll have to protect that and the city... if you make the RED SIDE spawn abit closer, it could make for a fun wave defense like scenario

This is prob a big ask, but will there possibly be a scenario where one side occupies the city and only only has one road/air corridor whilst being surrounded? feels like the type of maybe you'd have a sort of " last stand " on

@BigGuns, not really. That is all handled by the game. As the road infrastructure highly differs from what Eugen does, it just might be that.

Are we talking specifically the 1v1 or 3v3 scenario? As there is an uneven amount of players in 3v3, it might feel weird to have an even amount of points. I could of course make 2v2 scenario with even points. I am planning to update this weekend and could include that. Updating has unfortunately taken this long as I have been pretty busy with work.

@Hazamuth It would be nice if you could stalemate, having an even amount of command points or zones, Combat always seems more dynamic when you cant just idle on the middle one to win. Regardless I still enjoy the map and its one of my favorites.

Wish a lot of these maps came with an even amount of command points. Always annoying when a win happens due to the enemy holding a single point more the entire game without pushing. Also makes almost all the fighting happen in one place

are you the one in control of the transport road choices ? They seem to be totally random and taking often not the optimal road.

This is the best map i have seen for this game; asymmetrical and full of real world tactical opportunity for all decks. Fantastic fun if your playing airborn

A small question, why does "fog" appear? I encountered the problem that I can't see anything when I change the time of day, until I zoom in on the map as much as possible. :lunar2019piginablanket:

I parsed together a heightmap and did some light editing in Photoshop, but that only dictated hills, rivers and so on. The editor has a nifty feature where you can transpose a transparent picture on top of the terrain, so I had a satellite photo of the area lined up and used that to draw all the large areas. For the town I had the satellite and aerial imagery on second screen as there are a lot of tiny details that get lost in the transparency.

As for other maps, perhaps. I am testing the viability of a stupid joke project and after that I had a couple of ideas for another Finland one as I know how to source the materials.

Honestly the biggest limiting factor at this point is time as my actual work projects are heating up and I unfortunately need to prioritize those.
