Yep, this mod was the culprit. Unsubbed and the buildings are no longer blocked.

Seems to be a issue running this with UWE. Some trees block the entrances to stuctures added by the UWE mod. At least that is my guess.

That occurs in base game my guy. You can reach that deposit without the mod by moving to the ore manually.

in stack an entire rock formation is removed. this is significant as it allows access to a copper node INSIDE the town, when it should only be accessed from outside. a little exploitative imo and the mod didnt specifically mention these edits unless im misreading.

i have to uninstall for now, otherwise good mod

Its interesting how the grass moves around a little bit after closing the game then coming back and loading a save. Slight variations in how the foliage is generated that I guess I never noticed before when simply running the reduce foliage and rocks mod. However I did notice a floating windmill in the anti slaver capital of spring caused by a rock that was removed...

Think some trees from this mod are effecting the ability to enter a holy nation ruin in south central borderzone. Cant get into the Y house because a tree is in the doorway.

@crunk aint dead. BRO! I FOUND THE ISSUE!!!

I spend the last 2 hours doing several test and I found that this file is the reason for the incompatibility with UWE:

'rusted drone crooked legless'

Now, reverting the changes done to 'min altitude' back to 0 (down from 100), fixes the issue.

Could you revert the change to that value?

I have the same problem with the shell gigantic ruin. It's kind of really cool location the flooded lands and the flooded oasis. I think that just lowering the gigantic shell a bit can solve the issue.

@Anrhaa doubt this mod has anything to do with UWE. UWE adds lots of new cities and etc.
It's defo needs a patch for UWE.

Bro, there's a slight incompatibility with UWE's Flooded Oasis Town. When using UWE along this mod, one can't enter or exit the town. My best guess is that it's something about this gigantic ruin

Crunk, how do you think this mod compares with thicc foliage mod? I'm just testing both, separated of course, first this. I know both focus in different things, this mod do more things, but what i wonder is how do they compare in your opinion in that "thicker foliage" matter, this mod does similar thing right?

I really like this. It enhances the picture quality while reducing the sexual desire. However, many trees cannot be completely deleted, which has caused me a lot of trouble in my construction. Is there any way to delete individual trees in the MOD?

I have them both installed with interactive world and some respective patches... they seem to work in most areas. hub works atleast but some areas i cant select trees (perhaps due to city mods likely on my end) this mod seems to work with accurate zones minimally

@Laughing forest, it definitely changes the texture blending and tiling on all terrain textures, which could cause this. Where are you seeing low quality textures

I’ve recently noticed some not great ground textures in parts of the world (pixelated, etc) and I’m questioning whether they’ve always been like this or if a mod is affecting them.

Does FASTR affect ground textures themselves?

@Shela Monster these changes are intentional, I set texture blending to be much lower so it isn't using the slope textures for all heights.

Thanks for the update and your continued dedication to optimizing Kenshi! :steamhappy: I think something might have broken though as for some reason my Mongrel land textures seem very off... they still load, so not invisible ground, but the texture of the ground inside the town is VERY different now.

A new version of FASTR is on the way soon which will significantly improve performance more so than any other foliage mod ever has.

I have been removing collision boxes from all foliage which spawned in areas inaccessible by the the Navmesh. This has allowed me to push the optimization further than even I myself realized. I have removed thousands of collision boxes from some zones such as Arm of Okran and Royal Valley. No longer will your game spend so many resources rendering collision for areas which cannot be reached.

@NeverFrosty This is a common bug in the game engine that happened to me multiple times before installing this mod. I had one pop up literally in my base while I was building it, it has something to do with buildings and terrain that creates them. NOTHING to do with this mod

There are multiple pathways that are blocked, when u hover your mouse u can see the blocked icon. Even npcs cannot walk on those places lol. I was waiting for the raid, and saw them not moving. It's because they cant move to that path lol. Decided to disable this mod and it started working again as intended. If u experience this, problem, the cause is probably this mod.
