I don't do compatibility patches. You are free to make one yourself.

I found a bug in this technology mod, where factories similar to car factories can produce tanks, and AI tends to use them instead of making realistic choices. Similarly, with plastic factories, AI rarely selects tires. Can this be fixed with a patch? Thank you

Thank you for the update <3 <3 <3

Thank you for the update. This mod is a must for anu playthrough!!! Thanks so much for the great quality work!

Updated to support 1.10.3.

The 1.10.3 update seemed to add support for controlled deficit spending for the AI, primarily used by Austria for their JE. I extended the trigger to apply to any country with a low enough interest rate. I didn't see a noticeable change for Austria or other countries, possibly because I made it turn off when countries go to war.

Lowered AI's desire to subsidize railways. Ever since 1.10 AI has been building an excessive amount of them and going bankrupt.

Added technology requirements to triggers for exporting late game goods. This is to prevent tiny amounts of them from showing up on world market ahead-of-time. The root cause with subventions is yet to be fixed by Paradox.

1.10.3 supported?

Will this still work with 1.9.8 or do I need to de activate it?

Not sure how it affects ai logic, but i edited this in 01_admin_strategies and the bug didnt reappear (i did same thing for telephones and radios)

automobiles = { stance = wants_export
trigger = {
AND = {
kai_has_high_supply = { GOODS = automobiles }
has_technology_researched = combustion_engine
}
}
}

I love you

Updated the mod to support 1.10.0. This is primarily a compatibility patch. Improvements will come at a later date. (Or I might be distracted by EU5 release...)
jdiu3 23 SEP a las 10:57
Is this compatible with 1.10?
Berecles 20 SEP a las 10:46
yes, I could reproduce it with your steps and answered on your bug report to give it more attention hopefully. Thanks for your mod.
Berecles 20 SEP a las 4:14
Using this mod alone. Game starts with Automobiles as demand already. When 1942 starts Telephones and Radios appear in the world market. No one is able to produce them yet. Trade Centers get them from nothing.

I don't have that in vanilla.
I ran some observer games with your mod and vanilla.

vie been playing this mod with Political and economic changes mod and just recently the AI cannot handle its economy, i mean every single nation is in default by 1880's the only ones that are not in permanent default are Russia and china somehow. did you do a change or something causes it used to work fine,
KuromiAK  [autor] 1 SEP a las 15:59
Regarding the issue of export subvention causing automobiles to show up in world market at game start. I confirmed that the player is also able to trigger the bug. So I made a bug report on Paradox forum in the hope that the devs will fix it.

I just wanna say thank you bro. After Anbeeld left, there was a big hole in the Vic3 community for better AI mods. You are the GOAT for not only making this, but also continuing it for such a long period of time.
Notthebeegees 27 AGO a las 20:37
Does this improve subsistence farms, or have they always been this strong? I've got a nigerian manor house with 1000 productivity from only subsistence.
KuromiAK  [autor] 22 AGO a las 4:12
I recall that even in vanilla, trade center could create goods that don't exist. AI stance affects tariffs and subventions, so a subvention may cause trade centers to create small quantities of goods from thin air? I will investigate. Thanks for the tip.
THOMCNTV 21 AGO a las 10:20
@Djin Mori . I was also stumped by this and found out the solution. It's a bug that originated from the changes Kuromi made to the file 01_admin_strategies, specifically in ai_strategy_industrial_expansion. You just need to remove the AI's wish to export automobiles,radios, and other goods that arent available at the beginning of the game. In my experience, this doesn't significantly harm the AI's performance.

Llevo 5 partidas usando tu IA, y sinceramente, Paradox debería contratarte.
18 AGO a las 19:02
兼容BPM吗?
Torr 18 AGO a las 17:44
Is it possible to allow the AI to debt spend to boost gdp? The AI always falls far behind a player even with minimal effort.
Bandaro 18 AGO a las 7:05
Have you tried affecting the AI's likeness of subsidizing their railways? It eats a lot of money in my game, I think vanilla or modded too.
bakabaka 15 AGO a las 21:09
Djin Mori 13 AGO a las 7:13
there is an interaction with caused by this mod and some of my other mods, that causes there to be an automobile need from the very beginning of the game, anyone got any idea how this could be caused?

Version 4.6 released, supporting 1.9.8.

Rewrote political strategy weights to better reflect IG's ideology and clout, especially in monarchies.

erm... no offence but... i just ran an observe game til 1930 and.. britain sort of failed to colonise Australia. like 1/2 of it was still aboriginal owned

@THOMCNTV
Sure go for it.
THOMCNTV 29 JUL a las 11:33
@KuromiAK I'm a big fan of your mod and I’ve created a personal mod in which the AI is almost entirely based on yours. I only made a few changes to trade and political matters, and I also integrated a few other mods. The result turned out quite interesting — I managed to get a slightly higher global GDP, and significantly higher than in vanilla.

I also made some personal adjustments to make immigration to the Americas more realistic, along with a few other minor tweaks.

I’d like to ask if you would authorize me to publish my mod, which includes the same AI files from your mod. Of course, I will give you full and prominent credit for your work.

tsnfosst 22 JUL a las 1:49
ai build too much army tho, more than 2K unit in a war causing serious laggy. It is possible to set a maximum limit of that?
21 JUL a las 19:48
21 JUL a las 19:47
Moridin 21 JUL a las 16:02
The AI is sadly still too happy to sit on its gold reserves :(

AI is switching to railways then turning it off all the time in the west bengal?

Waiting for fresh reviews who will run test game with current version of mod.

Version 4.5 released, supporting 1.9.7.

Arms race is re-enabled. All the way back in 1.2, AI used to build barracks ignoring their budgets, only to to run out of money and destroy those barracks. As of 1.9.7, AI seems much more responsible with their budget. Plus they could use a late game money outlet.

Small tweaks to PMs and power plants. Though not perfect, AI now adopts electricity reasonably well. There should be fewer instances of shortages too.

AI should no longer demand regime change from a subject of their rival.

18 JUL a las 21:21

I've noticed that Great Powers always stays as Monarchies. Played like 4 game and never saw them changed their Political Structure.
Rambosfire 13 JUL a las 17:06
Hey look I'm not sure, but I've noticed a strange thing of some latent automobiles in the world market, like 40 or so being exported at any given moment right from the game start. I've isolated it to this mod, so perhaps it is a bug? Later on same with a low quantity of telephones on the world market I noticed in 1870, way too early. But anyways, yes automobiles from the game start. Usually it's from specific areas like UK home country or Sweden and Prussia, despite no industry building producing any.
hello_moto2901 13 JUL a las 16:59
hows the performance with this mod?
KuromiAK  [autor] 10 JUL a las 14:02
Version 4.4 released, supporting 1.9.6.

Increased revolution aversion in generic AI strategies to compensate for the increased chance to attempt to pass laws. Early civil wars should be less common in progressive great powers - the US, Britain, France.

Lowered the minimum state GDP before AI would construct a trade center slightly for non-coastal states or in unrecognized countries. This was specifically so that Persia's inland capital would qualify for a trade center. Vanilla 1.9.6 added the limitation for performance reasons. This change should be minor enough to not cause problems.

AI should now switch their financial districts to Public Traded.
