Hello,
I'd like to know what the problem is with the presence sensors and the teleporter. When I program one with the other, they don't stay connected! I've played for 2,500 hours and this is a recent problem. Is it possible to recode it correctly?

Anyone is free to create a server, so you could start one.

Reforged Eden 2 will probably be in development for another 5 years or so, assuming we're still working on it that long.

And for translations, Ashenator's answer pretty much hit it on the head. We're not really able to add in much localization at this point.

Portable Constructor - is a Vanilla issue.

I just reinstalled EGS after cleaning.

- deleted all leftover files (after a backup)
- cleaned the registry, used all Win11 tools for HealthCheck, Deep Clean Up, etc.

Installed and started EGS (without restoring backups)
Started Vanilla EGS, uncontrolled startup:
Can't pick up Portable Constructor.
I also can't directly transfer items from Portable Constructor to my inventory.

Having a wonderful experience with this mod, I tend to restart my games frequently so the updates arent a problem. But I wonder what the plans for the next update is? Thank you.

Good to know. And just to be clear, I was not disparaging the Legacy as they are, just pointing out that they are an end-game challenge and their difficulty is not really a roadblock to progression (if one is patient enough)

The Legacy have unique handheld weapons and weapon mods for them that are currently the best in the game.

Keksimus, look at it and it will tell you shift+f to pick up. If you mean to make it it is in your suit constructor.

The decoys are needed to direct the fire towards the armor. Otherwise they will aim directly for your own weapons, thrusters and primary generators. The generators you can armor, the thrusters too if you or your server dont mind burrying them, but your guns will be left vunerable. The best you could do is narrow the angle that they can take fire from, but that also restricts the angle you can shoot from as well.

That said, other than the challenge, what does the Legacy offer that is not avaialable elsewhere (albeit slower) in other areas of the game? The quantum cores are available in several abandoned and zirax POIs as well as Zirax OPVs.

Decoys weren't the dev's idea they were started by some players, you don't need to use them instead put that weight towards armor.

There was a brief discussion on Legacy here . In every gaming house there is a room reserved for the high rollers. I'm quite content in playing the slots. RE2 has plenty for both :steamhappy:

Cellula do not spawn non-stop. They divide into two one time when their parent is killed, and not any further. They are also one-shotable.

But here's the problem, they're not difficult to fight, they're annoying. Specially with all the cellulas that keep spawning non-stop, you also make shields completely useless and instead rely on gimmicks such as decoys which is just abusing of the AI, no real skill involved.

Their shield penetration was already heavily nerfed. That said, they are also the most powerful enemy in the entire scenario and are intended to be extremely difficult.

I used to enjoy this scenario, but jesus ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ christ dude, you need to nerf legacy shield pen, it's not fun at this point, you constantly keep losing turrets even with decoys, plus the stupid insane range and the shields being useless, this is not enjoyable anymore.

Also if there are high spots and you have terrain inside the poi just remove it with the mining tool.

@Gamble had this happen once, realized after when spawned in it was slightly too high some points were touching the ground but not all take a close look at downloaded POI's from the workshop page and make sure you have at the same level as in the pictures. Use the page down key to lower into ground if it turns red it is too low.

So Question. When i download and or make custom POIs and spawn them in ... they always collapse when we try to go in them. The land flattening option when you spawn them in does not seem to work. Any suggestions on how to spawn in a custom structure on a planet and have it be stable?

Well what Google said wasn't technically wrong, that is basically the process, but the game can't handle it. There's differences in the save game structure between single player and dedicated servers that cause it to break.

For those seeing the Portable Constructor issues, this is something that was introduced in a recent base game release. The Eleon developers are aware and have stated they will fix it in the next patch.

I wiped the server to the newest Empy patch and also updated to the newest RE2 (last time we wiped was in August). Players are reporting that the portable constructor is not allowing it to be picked up. Any thoughts?

Hey so Im trying to make a new save with some friends and when they try to join me the downloading files part takes an *insanely* long time, is there a way to speed it up or skip it? We've been waiting for about an hour and it gets stuck with like one or two files remaining. Don't have the best internet and when I tried to join my other friend to see if it was a me issue, he kept getting a popup error non stop as soon as we tried to connect and it still takes forever to download files.

Yeah that won't work. The game just doesn't support it and you will run into various issues.
