I'd like to know what the problem is with the presence sensors and the teleporter. When I program one with the other, they don't stay connected! I've played for 2,500 hours and this is a recent problem. Is it possible to recode it correctly?
Reforged Eden 2 will probably be in development for another 5 years or so, assuming we're still working on it that long.
And for translations, Ashenator's answer pretty much hit it on the head. We're not really able to add in much localization at this point.
I just reinstalled EGS after cleaning.
- deleted all leftover files (after a backup)
- cleaned the registry, used all Win11 tools for HealthCheck, Deep Clean Up, etc.
Installed and started EGS (without restoring backups)
Started Vanilla EGS, uncontrolled startup:
Can't pick up Portable Constructor.
I also can't directly transfer items from Portable Constructor to my inventory.
- I'll repost this in the main EGS discussion.
Portable constructor cant pickup
Good to know. And just to be clear, I was not disparaging the Legacy as they are, just pointing out that they are an end-game challenge and their difficulty is not really a roadblock to progression (if one is patient enough)
That said, other than the challenge, what does the Legacy offer that is not avaialable elsewhere (albeit slower) in other areas of the game? The quantum cores are available in several abandoned and zirax POIs as well as Zirax OPVs.

We are aware and will be fixed in a upcoming update

Find the dedicated.yaml file, located in steamapps\common\Empyrion - Dedicated Server\.
Open the file in a plain text editor, like Notepad++.
Find the GameName line near the bottom and change the value to match the name of the new save folder you created.
Save the dedicated.yaml file.
Step 4: Start the dedicated server
Run the EmpyrionDedicated.cmd or EmpyrionDedicated_NoGraphics.cmd file.
If you're not using the graphical launcher, you may need to add the -dedicated parameter to the command line, along with a reference to your new .yaml file, for example: EmpyrionLauncher -startDedi -dedicated myserver_dedicated.yaml.
The server should now start using your transferred save file
This is what a Google search turned up but Google can bork things a lot especially its AI system
Find your game's save folder, which is typically located at steamapps\common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Saves\Games\.
Inside the Games folder, locate the folder for your co-op save (e.g., NewGame).
Copy the entire contents of this save folder to a safe location.
Step 2: Set up the dedicated server
Make sure you have the dedicated server files installed (available via Steam under the "Tools" category).
Copy the save files you copied in Step 1 into the dedicated server's save folder: steamapps\common\Empyrion - Dedicated Server\Saves\Games\.
Rename the copied save folder in the dedicated server's Games folder to match your desired server name.
My friend and I started a local co-op game, and later I tried to move the saved game to another PC as a dedicated server. But the server refuses to start with this save. If I create a new save, the server starts normally. What could be the problem?
