@Protok My idea was an alternative way to get some resources in the early game and giving not very useful pawns something to do in the later stages of a playthrough. And also it was just fun making it.

Thanks. I started a playthrough with Scavenging mod. What was your idea while making this? To help colony in bad terrain? Or to roleplay neolithic way? I mean it seems not much value to do scavanging, because there is much more things which are important and more valuable for colony.

@Protok If I remember correctly almost all vanilla non-DLC terrains are supported and that's it. I will update it so it tells you where you can place the spot in the future.

@ElectricSkull All I can recommend is that you try to pinpoint what causes it. If some other mod is causing this then I wouldn't be able to fix it as it's not my mod's issue.

I don't know if this is a bug, but the pawn will use the spot without stopping unless you draft them to stop. They will literally starve themself.

could a patch be added to allow the pearls to be used in the jewellery mod and or medieval overhaul?

plz add patch for mod terrains.(pphhyy's Lightless Empyrean,ashlands,edo bamboo etc...)
it doesn't work for mod terrains.

You tried both mods together? Because when I use it, and use it on a moving river, it just disappears like a few minutes later.

Love this, great graphics and neat simple implementation of the concept. Would also love to see some settings to adjust the overall time taken and chance of success.

for mods on it, I feel it might be becasue of Some things Float mod? It's my only guess and one of the mods in my mod list that might come to mind for this.

@Romyashi where exactly is WorkGiverDef and WorkTypeDef used? from what I understand,
Does the WorkTypeDef appear in the work tab?
and the WorkerGiverDef appears in the character tab. it's right? (they are both very similar to each other :v)

Hey ! Good mod but i wonder, what are the chance of getting the cannon ? cuz i had 2 guy on scavenging for a full day and i got 4 of them (including 2 legendary), is it intended ?

honestly the only thing that wouldn't work well with CE are the cannons and the harpoon guns, but that's due to the ammo system and damage system

I'm curious, why is it so high on the work order? It seems like scavenging should be done after other tasks by default, not as one of the most important things.
I also wonder if maybe a basket or something could be added that works the same as the spot but requires materials to make and is faster?

I think they are asking for compatibility for the oysters and fish eggs to be counted as raw fish for recipes maybe.
