Every time i take off, it just starts shaking out of control.

Just switch it on in the cockpit, and then fly towards the edge of the search zone, not the center. The triangulator should show a progress bar as you approach, eventually showing a location on the small map.

@Jacohover I also vastly prefer that Layout. I have no idea how the logic stuff works but I'll give it a shot and see if I can change it on other choppers

@NyassaV Its really just a question of how you connect the inputs. I don't do anything different then the rest, I just connect the seat outputs differently cause I prefer this control layout. In theory you can change anyones vehicle to this layout, it just might be kinda hard, depending on their control systems ;)

How did you get the Yaw to be A and D while every other heli creation doesn't do that?

Ah yes, well that will be difficult with both of these. Maybe I should make a much smaller variant, although I really want to keep my harness system integrated...

It is a mess, yes. I always make a lot of redundant connections just because i like to really, makes it fell safer to me I guess. Also if you like this, you probably should try the newer and larger version, its in my collection as linked here

This has massively improved this chopper in my personal ranking, it's now #2 in my air rescue ranks. Amazing bird, outstanding work. TYSM

Flipping issue has been resolved, and the water capacity is now about 10x as much. This should help a lot in career mode. Also the cost has reduced slightly

Yeah, unfortunately it has a tendency to flip the entire heli upside down when used to decrease alt (which is your only option short of turning the rotors off). Has cost me more than one mission at this point :(

Thanks for the feedback! I will have a look at what the issue with the NPCs might be and I will also check the alt control, it shouldnt be as bad as that if nothing is broken.

Just a heads up, the harness system doesn't seem to wanna take NPCs. I just did a forklift mission with this bad boy and was sad to find I couldn't load my one casualty into the lift. Also, there's no reliable way beyond the alt controller to control your alt... manual control is impossible at any decent rate AFAIK

@lonewolf555 Thanks for the praise! I have been working on a much larger helicopter with all the feature, but I have hit a hitch with creating the flight control system, i just cant get it to work the way I want it currently. But if you have a need for non-airborne things, thats easier to make xD

this dude is one of the best modders i have seen he needs more mods if you ever need some inspo on what to make ask me i play this game alot like for example we really need a good fire fighter helis to match with fireworks fire towers mod

Quick Info, I will be starting on working a twin rotor version which will be faster, have more space, and hopefully the same core features like the harness system. It will take a while though before it is workshop capable

Sad to hear you cant get the harness system to work, its the main feature of this Heli. You can either use the panels on the harness-platform or in the heli, and you can use the remote in case you fall of or something. It should be straight forward, but you can just DM what you issue is and we can figure it out

Love this Heli. Flies like a boat, so smooth and insane fuel/travel distance. Never could get the harnes system to work but its so steady i could hover just above the water and hop out if i wanted.

Good point, I will push an update within the next few days and add heaters

Unfortuantely this is unusable when in cold climates. No jackets or heater.

Dual Rotor sound like fun, I will see if I can recycle the current one to some extent and make something even bigger

one of my favorite helicopters because of the in cabin rescue system i love it
any thoughts on a larger version ? possible duel rotor with med beds etc ? your designs are thoughtful and well laid out and i like the frigate as well

Nice Helicopter, but for me it still needs an medical bed. Also adjustable lights for the cockpit would be nice (red/white)
