culture difference is hurting me
That's what I do in most cases where the mod doesn't require any change (to avoid incompatibilities introduced by the mod updates themselves).
The most probable explanation is that you're expecting something else than what the mod does.
If they say "I feel like a foreigner" then it's normal.
Please read the mod description above, and if there's still a problem give me more details such as the version of the game and the last dialogue line the npc says.
No, this would be more complicated than it seems. However if you try the Dynaculture mod, you won't have that issue anymore.
For me it works well, are you in a settlement ?
[FR] Es-tu dans une ville ?
Good to know, that's weird because when I updated the tags to 1.1.0 the previous versions were crashing, that's why I removed the 1.0.3 tag.
My mods seem compatible with 1.1.1.
I don't update the steam tags for every patch because last time just adding the tags broke my mods for people who wanted to stay in previous versions.
No, my coding knowledge is very limited so I only make mods that I want in my own playthroughs. Plus, let's not cultivate tribalism, our world has too much of it already. ;)
I recommend disabling this mod temporarily if you really want other mods that are still on v1.0.3, but I suppose you'll have the same issue when they update.
Oh, that's weird because I didn't change anything when updating. I only added the "1.1.0" tag. Did you have other mods installed when you tried ? Also sometimes the mod updates can take time or even require subscribing again, maybe that influenced your results ?
It's now updated, let me know if I missed something in my testing.
I didn't try 1.1.0 yet, but from reading the patch notes I don't expect any problem. So it should work, but keep saves just in case. ;)
And as one of the main reason I collect companions is to use them as governors later. It would be awesome to tailor their culture to suit my needs!
Debatable, so if I get many protests I'll consider adding the option for other cultures too. ;)
