ajmarston; Howdy, I don't really understand your question. Static/Environment objects don't require electricity (besides a source) they use infinite electricity by default.
What do you mean by; "like a to H"?

Shad0w_real, if you want to post your work I don't mind you reusing my stuff, I don't really get 'bent out of shape about that'.
As to the gun itself, (timer permitting) I can try and remove it for you but I designed it specifically for the purpose it is currently used.
Re-engineering it to be a solitary gun platform might take some time to do, but I can try.

I just really like the gun, I tried removing the bunker myself but I couldn't figure out how to remove it and still keep the gun functional, also just a FYI I never planned to release anything with the gun, I was tho hoping to put it onto some of my own creations (not to be posted on workshop)

The problem is that it uses the bunker to hide/contain its ammunition stores, also these particular weapons were land based in fortified positions.
I'm curious, what would you need such a weapon for without the bunker?

It is an 'Addon', so you can check the box for it in the addon list when you start a new game.

I did point the gun towards the target and I fired it several times, but the scribe just stood there doing nothing the entire time. Is there a way to mark a target for the scribe?

ShadowLord_45, sorry you are having trouble.
Are you pointing the gun (you don't have to raise it) towards the target?
The "Scribe" uses direct beam radar ranging to determine target distance, if there is no target present and the gun isn't facing the direction of the target the Scribe won't write a range on the chalk board.
Keep in mind also that he updates the range every so often, and not constantly.

Do you have the "Magazine Elevator" breaker on and the gun breech open?
Also, insure you have 'infinite ammo' turned off in your options screen.

ghullison, sorry you're having trouble.
You can either spawn them in individually as a mission or load in them in at the start of a new game via the 'addon' menu.
Once you've done they should be visible on the map, provided you used the addon menu.
Otherwise if you're spawning them individually use the map above.

Theoddball972, sorry your have trouble. The scope does not adjust along the vertical/ranging axis. Ranging is gained via the information provided by the Range Scribe. Who in turn (in the real world) would have received that information from Spotting Emplacements/Towers.

Granted, his range data isn't always the most accurate based on how the game handles ranging data from radar. But it is accurate enough to get you close, at which point you can start "bracketing" you target. By firing rounds long, then short, and progressively narrowing the actual range down to a hit.

Sounds complex, but it's easier then you think and also accurate to how real artillery operates, even today.

Good mod, but I can't get the vertical aiming system to work in my favor. Could you add a telescope to the lower part of the cannon so it is easier to see if I am on target vertically?

When it was my first time using it I spe like 5 minutes thinking the ammo cart was in it then when I got back to the surface I got jump scared by the man 🤣

Hopefully my last question, how do I fire it exactly?
I'm not that smart when it comes to this stuff heh..
